Would you like the next Mario Party game to include characters from outside the Mario series? Like a playable Link with Zelda-themed minigames, or a playable Samus with Metroid-themed minigames, etc? WarioWario microgames are too short and Nintendo Land flopped, but I still think this idea has potential. Even the Mario Kart series started making race tracks based on other Nintendo franchises, which was a refreshing pace from all the usual Mario-themed tracks. The Mario Party series has gotten really stale after 10+ games of only Mario-themed stuff. Maybe it's time to invite other Nintendo characters to liven up the party.

Mario titles have so much shit to be referenced that haven't. How about a Sasaraland stage? Sub-Con? BeanBean Kingdom? Anything from Paper Mario? More levels based on areas from the 3D Mario games?
Wario Ware hasnt been referenced outside of including Wario's Bike in MKWii.
Why not put in a Diamond City stage and add a few of the WW cast members in. And make Wario have an alternate WW costume when he's using a bike like how Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina have alt costumes.
Similarly, Wario Land has also been completley unused other than having Wario's Car in MKDD.
Stick in some WL stages, and Captain Syrup.
The closest thing weve gotten to an outright Yoshi's Island stage is Baby Park, other than that its just been various levels with Yoshi's name and face slapped on it.
Donkey Kong is in the same boat with lots of levels with his name and face on it, but only 1 level explicitly based on DKC. Why not add some more DKC levels, add more kongs, and stick in K.Rool as well.

At this point I think it would be safe for Nintendo to abandon the "Mario" moniker and just go with "Nintendo Kart" and "Nintendo Party", but I assume the brand-name is simply too strong to ignore.
What I'd like to see is characters and boards from other IP used.
I'd like to see them go back and try Nintendo Land again on a system that isn't shit, and use it to shill new games coming out. They could make a new mini-game in Nintendo Land DX to promote a new release (i.e. a shooting gallery for Metroid to promote Metroid Prime 4), kids would get some basic shit to play and increase brand recognition and then annoy their parents to buy the new Metroid game they just saw advertised in actual gameplay, and then you could take said mini-game and use it as a mini-game in the actual party board version of Nintendo Land.

When the fuck are Kirby and Sonic joining Mario Kart? They literally already have custom vehicles ready for flying or surfing from racing games that would migrate over perfectly and would have been way more exciting than Zelda or fucking Splatoon. It doesn't have to be like "Smash" faggotry. Sonic is colorful and iconic enough as a former rival for an exciting new racer that doesn't betray the feel of the series and Kirby is even more so and has plenty to offer from Air Ride as a friendly neighboring franchise that has no competition or antagonism towards anyone and someone like Link says there's be no harm letting a couple fellow Nintendo fighting buddies from Super Smash Bros along for some lighthearted cups for pretty trophies.

No. People only think this because both Mario Kart and Mario Party have stopped used original ideas and are pulling from what currently exists in Mario universe. And because that's the case, people think it should pull a Smash Bros. and pull from other Nintendo universes. You end up making Mario Party and Smash Bros. less special if you include all Nintendo characters. N64 and Early GameCube Mario Party has a very different feel than the core Mario series, it was truly something unique and people wanting to include more Nintendo just for the sake of it are mentally stunted.
