Literally paying to waste your time. UNLESS, you play long enought to git gud but then the charm disappears because you kick the shit out of others and the adrenaline is gone. These games are made for adrenaline junkies but unfortunately you lose it if you play it long enough.

You lose the items but can repurchase with ingame money on whatever fucking character you decide to hire. Easy to get money so it's not an issue. Obviously players who are more careful/better than you have a advantage.

That's not really true, once you reach a high level of skill in an online shooter it becomes far more fun to play.

I picked it up recently and it is really fun. If you pick it up, go into it with the mentality that it is a PvE game too. You shouldn't expect to run into someone every game, though once you learn the mechanics, you can get good at predicting what other players will do and where they will go. Also don't horde your money, spend it. Just accept that you will lose hunters, the money you get is pretty generous and consistent, and you can do fine with a low level hunter, equipped with the right guns and tools.

I have no idea, but I always find people to play with, but the queue usually takes around 5 minutes. They also split up the servers between US East, and West, if you are in the US. I think they are just really picky with matchmaking though, because my ping is always around 30 in game, and it is usually with people right around my experience level. Keep in mind, there are at most 10 players in a match, so it will be hard for this game to die, they will just have to redo their matchmaking algorithms if the playerbase declines. I am optimistic about the game, it is really unique and should pull through despite being EA (hopefully).

it seems okay but -and this is coming for a dead by daylight fan- it seems like its one mode could get old real fast when it looks like its 'aim to kill one of 3 monsters and hope some 360 noscope guy bodies you in the interim'

It is fun

Tried it on the free weekend a few months ago and since then on my wishlist. I keep an eye on the dev feed and it "looks" like they're listening to the community and bring regular updates.

Currently everyone is shitting on them because the nerfed the most overpowered guns in magazine size, reduced ammo overall because everyone was just running around and shooting everything while the focus is more on stealth but reduced the price for said guns.

Atleast they added a starter mode so you can't lose your hunters for the first 15 bloodline levels so atleast you can now try different setups without losing your hunter.

Contentwise it's only one map with random spawned enemies, ammo, health packs etc etc., two bosses butcher and spider and only one PvEvP mode. But we got 20 hours out of it in the free weekend.

But be warned op. Only play it if you got a coop buddy and wait if they date an end for the early access.

Not everyone is like you anon, others can enjoy even a defeat if the match was a close and hard fought one. Getting lucky and scoring big is also nice.

Dead by Daylight is fucking trash, and this game is superior to it in every way. If you are a 360 no scope faggot you will just get murdered by someone sneaking up on you. This game is about stealth and prediction, and the thing that keeps it interesting is that you have the tools to tackle things in different ways. Dead by Daylight ends up being the same boring game every time.

You don't really need a co-op buddy. Solo is perfectly viable, and I have had good luck with random Duos.
