You know I didn't completely hate TLOU on my first run, there are aspects of it I thought were fun and coulda been expanded on, but what's going to be expanded on is more fucking walky-talky segments because some hairbrains think that's actually "cinematic". Everything about walky-talky exposition is a fucking joke, rarely is it delivered in a satisfying way and its actually completely inferior to cutscenes, one because you can skip a cutscene if you're uninterested in the story or replaying the game, and two cutscenes can actually use cinematic techniques to help tell the story, whereas forcing the player to walk and listen is the opposite of the immersion they're trying to achieve. I don't think "wow i'm IN the game" because I'm suddenly forced to walk, I think "wow the developer thinks either so poorly of me that they make sure I don't miss the exposition, or so highly of themselves the force you to watch the exposition"

The fanbase is incredibly obnoxious. Every event where Melee is played is going to have idiots screaming their asses off for their game to start – even during award ceremonies for other games. Naturally, Meleefags don't play any other games and aren't interested in doing so.
They're also delusional. The Meleefag is convinced that the competitive scene has variety, despite the fact that the same handful of players have won every event with the same 2-3 characters for years). He's also convinced that the game will never die, despite the desperate lack of defective gamecube controllers needed for high-level play, the rapidly aging playerbase, and the retirement of top players due to hand and wrist problems.
If all that's not enough, they infamously smell like shit at events because they don't bathe regularly. Signs have to be posted reminding people to wear deodorant.

The entirety of Pokemon generation 6 is a fucking shitstain upon the series that can never be purged. Before this bullshit, every generation got better and better, reaching a crescendo with the release of Black 2 and White 2. Those games had the best story, mechanics and Pokemon selection in the series. It also had one of the best post games in the series to boot with the PWT! Hell, GF even added a hard mode which finally gave the series a modicum of challenge.
So what was this followed up with?
PURE. FUCKING. DETRITUS.
First of all, Kalos is shit. GF could have done so much with the region; it's based on fucking France! There's so much cool shit in the country you could use as inspiration! Yet the region is one of the most linear and FORGETTABLE regions in the entire franchise, with wasted potential everywhere (*COUGH COUGH POWER PLANT*). The only memorable part of Kalos is Luminose City and that's only because it's a worse Castelia that's a nightmare to navigate. Oh and sure, it might have a ton of Pokemon (the most in a region at the time) but there are barely any newcomers or interesting old 'mons whatsoever. Hell, there weren't even 100 new Pokemon that generation! Oh, but they added mega evolutions! Well it's too bad they fucked up such a good concept.
GF gave megas to Pokemon who didn't need them at all (e.g. T-tar, Gengar, Garchomp, Scizor, Salamence with the release of ORAS) while neglecting ones who desparately needed it! Sure, some Pokemon like Absol, Mawile and Gardevoir got well deserved megas, but where's Mega Flygon? Where's Mega Seviper or Zangoose or Yanmega or LITERALLY HALF THE FUCKING POKEMON IN THE FRANCHISE WHO COULD HAVE BENEFITTED HEAVILY FROM A MEGA EVOLUTION!? Furthermore, the megas were not balanced whatsoever. Either the mega is even worse than the standard form (e.g. Mega Garchomp), fucking breaks the game (M. Gengar, M. Kangaskhan, M. Blaziken) or is mediocre despite having absurdly high stats (Glalie, Audino).
Note how Pokemon with BST's of near or even over 600 are considered mediocre now; power creep was taken into maximum overdrive this generation. It's one of the many awful parts of gen 6's horrendous metagame. Literally all of VGC was pure CHOCK cancer with hardly any variation beyond the usual team composition. On top of that the Smogon meta was also shit, with (once again) very little variety and FUCKING LANDO-T EVERYWHERE!!! The only good thing to come out of that meta was Bravest Bird, who ended up getting nerfed out the ass in Gen 7.
The story and characters were also pure garbage. The only one I vaguely remember is Shauna and that's only because of the porn of her. Everyone else was utterly forgettable with no personality to speak of whatsoever. Hell, even the villain team was awful! In fact, Team Flare is by far the worst villainous group in the series. They have no style and have no taste with what I can only describe as a gay ginger mafia aesthetic and their leader is just discount Cyrus with Doctor Octopus arms. To top that shit Sundae off, there's also genwunner pandering everywhere. For some reason, the moment you get to Luminose you get a free Gen I starter because instead of relying on the merits of the region itself, GF decided to cash in on nostalgia instead! Charizard and Mewtwo got not just one, but TWO fucking megas each. TWO! AND MEWTWO'S A GOD DAMN LEGENDARY WHO DOESN'T EVEN NEED ONE AT ALL! HELL THEY GIMPED ZYGARDE COMPLETELY IN FAVOUR OF HAVING MEWTWO IN A FUCKING CAVE BECAUSE MUH NOSTALGIA! AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH THEY PANDERED TO FUCKING FURFAGS WITH ALL OF THE FELLATING OF LUCARIO!
That's not all! Remember how generations 3 - 5 all offered a rich postgame? Well gen 6 offers fuck all except a battle tower wannabe!
The biggest sin of gen 6 however, is the gen 3 remakes.
THEY'RE FUCKING WORSE THAN EMERALD! EMERALD!! AFTER MAKING HG/SS AND FR/LG, BOTH OF WHICH SURPASSED THE ORIGINALS IN EVERY ASPECT, THEY COULDN'T EVEN REMAKE FUCKING GEN 3 PROPERLY! THEY REMOVED THE BATTLE FRONTIER AND GAVE US NOTHING BUT A SHITTY SIDE STORY!!!! AND SOMEHOW THEY CASUALISED THE MAIN STORY EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE, YOU GET A FREE FUCKING LATI BEFORE THE 8TH GYM!!!!

They're the most tedious and uninteresting shit out there, they went to such great lengths in making the game slow and it just adds to the abysmal experience. Everything is fucking slow. The player and the enemies wind up attacks for far too long, and the only reason you can ever actually get hit by a thing in the games is when they pull out the epic zinger of winding up the attack even longer to fake you out.
The bosses are there purely to test your muscle memory. They aren't smart, they don't do anything particularly challenging or unique. They'll slowly walk towards you and chimp out with the same repeated move 5x in a row every fucking time you knock off 20% of their bloated HP. Soulsfags are the fucking worst. And don't get me fucking started on Soulsfags. After this, the only way to go was up. Generation 7 was a step up in nearly every aspect. The new Pokemon were great and the alolan forms were a brilliant idea with decent execution. The metagame was shifted up quite nicely with the addition of the Tapus, Z-moves and the Ultra Beasts along with some fine-tuning to the mechanics. The story and characters are light years better than generation 6's with some of the lewdest characters in the series to boot i.e. Lusamine. On top of that, it also has my favorite villainous team on the series! Yet despite these improvements, it never reached the heights gen 5 did.
That's because of what it carried over from gen 6. After the disastrous implementation of megas, GF threw the idea out the window like a niglet. However, they still had to keep the ones that were already introduced and their presence doesn't make the meta better. At least they're only in the post game, but still. Furthermore, the postgame was still nonexistant and the region was still as linear and handholdy, if not worse in that regard than Kalos.
The worst part about this is that unless GF overhauls megas, they will continue to hamper every subsequent generation and bring it down, and we all know how much GF likes to unfuck things.

Matchmaking was supposed to solve people being unevenly matched but you either see people playing in groups in free-for-all modes, or the matchmaking just fails due to poor implementation. Massively fucking agreed. Porsche Unleashed was the pinnacle for the NFS games. Perfect balance of sim and arcade handling. Their career mode in Porsche Unleashed was amazing too. NFS 3 and 4 were great too for just fucking racing and the soundtracks were top notch.

I pirated it because the concept sounded fun (manage a SCP-style facility where you harvest energy from monsters and avoid having all your employees die) and I'm a sucker for anything with weird monster designs. But the gameplay. the fucking gameplay. First of all the game is based around the idea that you'll have to lose a few agents and trial-and-error gameplay. Except that doing so leaves you with less LOB points at the end of each day, wich are used to get new agents. And there's also the fact that some monsters can only be contained with high-level agents. But this would be all fine if it wasn't for a single factor that turns this game into a nuclear blast zone of shit.

RNG.
These fucking korean niggers thought it would be funny to leave monster adquisition to RNG. Wich means that you have a bunch of low-level agents and the next monster they have to deal with is some fucking spoiled chthullu hellspawn who kills everyone who doesn't have a ten gorillion patience score. And what's even "better" is that every single monster's information is locked unless you do enough investigations. Wich will usually result in your agents either dying or going insane. And if that happens the monster might escape, causing more deaths in the facility. But the king of RNG bullshittery has to be the ordeals. THE FUCKING ORDEALS. These are unavoidable RNG events where you are suddenly attacked by a bunch of enemies. And unlike the monsters, where you at least know that the monster you get will always be the same, you never know wich one you'll get. It could be either a harmless one or one that kills the entirety of your agents because it spawned in a part of the building where the agents are using weapons it resists because of the monsters contained in there. And to top this shit sundae, the computers that manage the different parts of the facility will go insane once you complete enough missions, so that's yet ANOTHER thing you have to worry about (although it's lessened by the fact that they only go insane for one day, but will all the chaos going around in the facility, it doesn't fucking matter). And the kicker is that you need all the AIs to go insane in order to get the true ending.
tl,dr DON'T DESIGN A GAME WITH TRIAL-AND-ERROR GAMEPLAY AND FILL IT WITH RNG, YOU KOREAN FUCKS

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. Ignoring how they made half of humans niggers, changed the descriptions of certain unique enemies to be female for no reason when there's already a few encounterable femme fatales, and other things like renaming the sword of jihad to sword of the zealot, there's gameplay reasons to hate this shit. Some legitimate bloat has been removed, but it's like a reverse hydra in that for every feature the devs add, two are removed. In terms of core mechanics almost everything in combat from damage to damage reductions are based on 1dX rolls so the end result is that fights are a series of misses and hits for 0 damage until you or the enemy gets a high roll and takes out half the other guy's health, making the combat fundamentally more RNG based than other roguelikes that actually have thought put into their damage dice. Potions of cure mutation are gone, now when you're mutated to shit all you can do is quaff normal mutation pots hoping it doesn't erase your good shit, actually removes the bad shit, and doesn't give you even more bad shit than before you drank it. Interesting spells are routinely removed from the game, and the ones that remain aren't worth using because enemies that matter will have magic resistance through the roof so they're immune to debuffs. All in all, the game is being streamlined and details are being taken out not necessarily in a casualizing way, but to cater to speedrunners.

I'll admit I got used to Need for Speed going the F&F route, but initially I hated it, and I wonder: Why the fuck after all these years of rehashing NFS games on the same theme, EA can't just give a try nowadays on making a new NFS in the style of 90's NFS games - only exotic hypercars instead of riced sports cars, scenic European open roads and a techno/trance soundtrack - since retro-style/nostalgia shit is so popular these days, they could market it as such.

Morrowind isn't a good game.
