Nintendo was also being pretty retarded during the 3DS days with its licensing fees (resulting in a few companies to sink like Imagepooch). SCEJ has also a history and reputation of being friendlier to small jap dev teams

Yumi must be one of the most polarizing things from the games I care about. There's quite clear cut of just how much they love it in Japland and how they hate it here. Frankly, I'm bored to tears of her. There are better Yamato Nadeshiko archetype girls out there, and for dorks, Mirai and Murakumo are superior dorks. The only good thing about Yumi is her voice when she's moaning and gasping in pain.

Shinovi Versus was the only game with a hypothetical route were the new Hebijo killed the other three groups. But with the mobile game, there are even more girls, with a couple of them already introduced for the console games. If anything, they should at least put the girls to work in tasks and assignments, and even if the older girls graduate, give the excuse that they told their superiors that they want to be considered as a small army working together for tasks that require multiple titty ninjas.

Regardless of who you like, it's actually a problem having so many characters fighting for attention. That goes for story since it means you can devote less time to each, and gameplay because half of them end up underdeveloped while you settle on favourites, and the game's really not varied enough to hold attention for long as it is.

Also Ryona is annoying, and I don't even like how she functions in the games.
