G series mice are garbage past the 400 series, steelseries used to make good products but are huge cucks that get bullied, and razer products have a 1 year time-delay self destruct

I had a roccat mouse that was better than any g400 I ever used, and every corsair product I've touched has been solid with it's high point being extreme durability compared to everything else I've used and abused. If anyone has a reason for me to not just buy everything corsair for my next build I'd like to hear it. I've got their K95 keyboard and it's solid metal, I could kill a man with this, plug it back in and go back to my vidya.

When you say g series mice are garbage, is that because they have sensor fuckery or are you basically just complaining about wireless? I'm not sure on the sensor, but I really like my wireless g603. When I used to use a wired mouse the cord would always snag or drag on the table and throw off anything I tried to do. The Wireless version MIGHT have one or two extra miliseconds of lag, but what I gain in precision (and lack of frustration) because I'm not constantly being pulled off course more than makes up for it. The one problem I have is that the main buttons are so sensitive they sometimes accidentally click whenever I put the mouse down.

Other that all the sims and arcade games out there that you can now emulate and use them with. The only other reasonable option is the Thrustmaster T300 RS GT edition which is £400 or the T-GT which is £600 whaen the logitech one is £300 mornally and currently £200 on amazon.

well i mean with practice you could play anything, but it works best for mechwarrior or 6DOF shooters like Descent, Forsaken etc. it's also not bad for certain simulators; i used a dual-stick setup for helicopter sims and it's not terrible but unless the sticks don't automatically center they're not the right tools for the job

Yea the T.16000M specifically is great for Elite since you can twist the stick left and right to adjust your yaw. So instead of just thrusting forward/backwards and rotating the ship up/down/side to side you can basically spin the ship on a horizontal axis for precise adjustments. That is the one thing the Warthog is missing as far as I know.

All of the >500 series starting with the 600s are subpar shite made for mmo players, and the 500s had an extremely annoying whiny motor inside for some fucking reason. The 400 series was good when it came out but has since been styled on by everyone. Their scroll wheels still suck and their build quality is average at best.

The battery on the G603 lasts 4 to 6 months. It uses AAs, so it's not like you need a charging cradle or anything. Honestly I have no idea how you could have a mouse cable NOT drag on the desk or catch on itself when you try and flick it.

You only need one or two good games to make a wheel worth it. I play the fuck out of GT Sport and Assetto Corsa on my G29 and that's all I need. Easily the most fun experience you can have playing vidya outside of spending a day at a really nice arcade with some awesome driving simulator setups. Actually better than that since I don't have to leave my room and be surrounded by faggots to do it.

the left control stick on the steel battalion controller can only move to the left and right so its kind of not a true dual stick controller. it controlls the steering of the VT. the thumbstick on top of the left stick has full directional movement though but it mostly controlls cameras. the right stick is a true joystick though and covers all weapon controls and aiming. you can let the right stick go and it will rest at whatever position that you have it in. you can also aim your weapons blindly off screen with it if you want.

But I want more than just hardcore sim. Mudrunner for example is a game I would love to play with a wheel, but it just doesn't work the way I want it too. Same with rally games. Now Dirt Rally works surprisingly well, but that's about it. And when it comes to customization there are no games that work well with an wheel. Forza is total trash with racing wheels.

Reminder that if you want a cheap M/KB combo with a perfect sensor and mech switches you can grab a Nixeus Revel and CoolerMaster CK550 for around 100 bucks.

Although I prefer the DM1 FPS because based poles can into not shit mice at reasonable prices
