I had a few problems with it.
>devs promised an SDK, to be released after all DLC was out, never came
>later battlefield 3 was declined an SDK because "it was too complex" for gamers
>NFS: the run team comments how incredibly easy it is to translate the core game play functionality of the frostbite engine to a racing game
>serious networking issues with terrible rubber banding
>punkbuster is very unreliable, frequent random kicks
>Free DLC was just rehashed maps with different game modes
>literally got to the point it was reusing campaign maps for DLC
>at least some BC 1 maps got in, that was cool
>when time came to actually release new content they just called it an expansion instead of what it was: DLC, so they didn't give it away for free like all DLC was promised
>fragmented the playerbase of an already kinda dying game
>apparently BC1 is better, I've yet to play it yet
That said when it worked I had a lot of fun with it. It frequently didn't work however and that was very annoying.
