Private Servers Up And Running #2

Greetings anons, once again much progress has been made on the Asheron's Call server emulators. The good news: new account creation has been re-enabled for Hightide after the sperg got b& for spamming. The bad news: along with that is the rollout of new account creation / email registration webpage. However, you can use throw-away email accounts (unless you think you'll ever need to do an account recovery).

AC was an MMO that launched in 1999 and received a shit ton of updates. The map is open-world, and for the most part the only barriers are at the oceans. Meaning you can with few exceptions run across that whole map.

There are a shit ton of dungeons, tons of quests, weapons and armor you can upgrade, housing, an allegiance system, exp sharing in parties and up to your allegiance leader, but for me most importantly pvp.

The Decal plugin system allows you to run bots, customize the UI, and run more than one client. This project emulates the server but uses the official client so it's sort of a hybrid solution. Reefcull is the non-pvp server (listed in the Thwargle Launcher).
