EA is desperate to recoup losses from the crashing preorders for Battlefield Feminism and nothing helps a sale like crashing the price for a game then releasing the premium pass for it for free, it worked for Battlefield 4 but will it work for Battlefield 1?

BF1 is already cheap so if the Premium pass is free I doubt EA will earn enough money to balance the loss and failure of BFV.
Also BFV won't have all the features at launch. The private servers, the BR mode etc. will be released later. They also have started reworking some of the playable characters to make them more accurate (no more soldier wearing 2 pairs of goggles or a woman with prosthetic arm).
I really wonder what DICE has been doing for 2 years with BFV. Also I've heard that a bunch of their devs are going back on Battlefront 2, which doesn't make any sense since it's a dead game.

I hate that argument. "It's just cosmetics, goys", that means as a player you will never unlock the skins you want based on a personal achievement.
There's one thing that CoD WW2 got right is that the opposite team will always look like they wear the default enemy uniform for each class instead of wacky neon colors where you can't understand the class or the side at first glance (see BFV or the last 3 wall-running CoD games).
