Honestly aside from the art style, Ultimate Spider-Man is really not that good. The real webswinging with webs actually sticking to a surface is nice but the momentum doesn't feel quite right compared to Web of Shadows. You can clearly see that Spider-Man gets pulled towards his web before it even connects with anything. Almost every mission is just "chase [insert villain here]" and the chases are always scripted so you can only actually catch them when the game wants you to. The combat is just not good enough to make the Venom sections fun and most of his sections are also just chase sequences except that this time you're the one getting chased. It's an amazing comic adaption but as a game it kinda sucks.
