Just got done watching that Arrietty movie by Studio Ghibli. I enjoyed it very much.
What are some games or levels that let me be a tiny character while everything else is giant-sized? Off the top of my head, I know that there is the Minish Cap, the Pikmin series, and the LittleBigPlanet series for starters. Meanwhile other games like the Katamari series, Okami, Mario Galaxy 2, Thief, and Hello Neighbor all have sections where you feel no taller than an inchling.
I don't know why this type of level design is so relatively rare when it's so easy to create. Just take all the 3D objects and meshes of a game level and scale them up. And voilà, an instant Giant level for an inchling-sized character to run around and explore in.
