Anyone else really like The Talos Principle? It's one of my favourite recent games.

Great puzzles, interesting story and themes that aren't shoved down your throat in cutscenes and the music, environments and VO work perfectly to elicit a genuine creepy feeling of being within a simulation.

The only other game that engrossed me as much in its world was Deus Ex, and after so long I never thought I'd get that feeling again.

I really liked the tower, I thought that was a cool design and I wish more games had something like that. especially more of that because as soon as I am told to not do something I do it

Puzzles were pretty great too but half of them bamboozled me to the extent where I had to cheat because I'm fucking retarded.

Of the main puzzles the only ones that gave me difficulty were a couple of the ones where you have to record a clone of yourself. A lot of the bonus puzzles and "puzzles within puzzles" to get the bonus stars were incredibly challenging though.

Definitely in my top 10 games list, and probably my favourite puzzle game. Brilliant atmosphere, world-building and actually rewards thinking cleverly. Too many games treat the player like a moron as if they're going to break their perfect immersive experience by doing what the devs didn't intend. This game's different, it assumes you have at least 2 braincells.

I like it.

Base game felt too easy outside of the star puzzles.

Road to Ghenna though, pretty good.

>break their perfect immersive experience

I like how there's a huge amount of easter eggs in the game that doesn't hurt the experience whatsoever too. Devs these days are so reluctant to put neat little things like this in anymore because it detracts from their oh so special cinematic masterpiece.

Yeah it's about lesbian robots rebelling against a male dominated society.

For a game full of Jewishness and furries it was pretty great. Sad thing is, Talos Principle 2 has been put on hold for Sam 4 and all their other stupid shit like VR.

>Jewishness and furries

But does it have hot anime girls?

The philosophy stuff felt too shoehorne in like they were trying to be 2smart4u, but the puzzles were great and really the dev team should stick to gameplay over story.
