Shill thread, but still warrants a proper answer.
I'll repost what I said in a similar thread some years ago, and say Warcraft. The original one. Without Warcraft,
>WoW never exists. The MMORPG genre most likely remains relatively niche, thus making their design a bit more similar to pre-WoW MMOs.
>ASSFAGGOTS don't exist, since Warcraft III, and by proxy Defense of the Ancients, never come to fruition.
>Twitch becomes a husk of its current self, due to many of the games that helped it grow as much as it did never existing
>As a result of this stunted growth, Battle Royale games never really take off
>And as an added bonus, thanks to Twitch Plays Pokemon possibly never existing, it doesn't become "cool" again. Pokemon Go either doesn't exist or doesn't experience the brief surge in popularity that it did, thus making it possible that the newer games pander to casuals less
>Due to WoW not existing and Twitch being less popular, it's very possible that Overwatch either doesn't exist or becomes much less popular than it is, due to Project Titan, Overwatch's predecessor of sorts, likely not existing
>As a result of the above, loot crates don't become as prominent in games as they did
I'm probably missing details, and lots of this is just speculation.
