Denuvo should never be acceptable on any standards, but it's getting to the point where every game we like or want to like is gonna have it.
So here i'll give my list of do's and dont's, feel free to judge or edit.
>Acceptable
<Is the game a multiplayer-only/MMO title? Well you'll need to always be online anyway just to play it.
<Is the version of Denuvo a version that dosen't effect performance or damage your hardware?
<How much is the game? Think about how much of your money would be entering the pocket of Denuvo with their percent cut. Waiting for sales is highly recommended.
<Has there been no reported issues with the game despite having Denuvo? No your friend from Steam does not count.
<Do the developers eventually plan on removing the Denuvo like ID Software?
<Do the devs/publisher plan on ever using Denuvo again? If no, good.
>Unacceptable
<Is the game a singleplayer title? If so then there is no reason you should have to be online to play it.
<The Denuvo version does affect the game in either performance or playability. (Example:Monhun-World on launch, Sonic Mania)
<The game is currently expensive meaning Denuvo will take a large portion of that cut and you're only feeding another piece of shit German to keep him fueled for his DRM company.
<Does the game already have another DRM service attached onto it? (Example:Uplay) If so, you may be needlessly chugging memory just trying to play the game.
<Do the devs/publisher plan on ever using Denuvo again? If yes, don't support them and wait for them to drop the service if they ever do so.
Or you know, just don't buy the game on PC, which is somewhat a difficult option since some people don't own a current-day console.
No i'm not going to shill the Switch.
