Let's have a thread about some good police games. There's plenty of games where you can commit crimes, but there's not enough games where you can dispense justice.
Some games I've been playing lately:

>Doorkickers
>Beat Cop
>GTA IV with LCFR mod
I'm looking for less SWAT-team stuff and more regular beat kind of stuff. I have LA Noire in my library (which I am still yet to play. Is it good?), but am hoping for more modern day policing.

this is a fun one. you play as an undercover cop though and can do some not so legal things to bust people. for example you can sell drugs to someone as a cop then bust them lel

Too bad the PC version runs like shit and is plagued with issues on modern OS / hardware even after installing all the community patches / fixes available. And the PS2 and GC versions also emulate like shit.
I wonder what kind of sorcery this game's engine did that makes it so troublesome to run on modern hardware.
Best way to experience this game nowadays is buying an OG Xbox and playing that version.

The problem with Ready Or Not so far is that the devs have been promising a gameplay trailer for over 3 months now with no response other than "It's not ready yet. :^)", even though they were more than willing to show some gameplay months ago, while the game is supposed to be released in just a few months.
