The original pilot was wildly popular on halfchan back in 2008, years before the internet at large gave any shits about it, because it was too much of a creative anomaly for most to care. They're literally pachinko simulators, but they include a story mode where pachinko is treated like Yu-Gi-Oh character treat children's card games and you have the impressively broad dialog choices (among typical choices and some other options, you consistently have options for Devil Survivor 2 tier autism, flirty pervert, and complete asshole) that Irem included in Disaster Report and Steambot Chronicles (which this uses the engine of). Between all of this there's a fairly detailed sandbox to explore and hang out in.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, NUER-MOOM Eternal might be shaping up to be much better, they seem to be taking alot of inspiration from older designs which is nice.
If they're able to remove that damnable enemy cap that was in their first game, improve the shitty level editor and keep up their may or may not be anti-refugee stance I think this game may be great.

nuDoom and Prey are some of the best AAA games to come out in a long time. Prey still looks better than that new system shock remake, but that is not saying much. At least I got prey for free though. A friend got it for me and I felt obligated to play it even with Denuvo.
