Don't get me wrong taste is subjective.

For example, I particularly like making builds in games, and exploration that is rewarding.

My girlfriend, liking stuff like fast gameplay more, is more into the monster hunter series, and kind of dislikes the dim color palette slapped over a medieval settings, since all the elements of the game are, as you mentioned, frustrating and boring to her.

PTD was fucked beyond belief on PC, if you look at it from a first time players viewpoint, DSR is the far better experience for them. Even DSfix had several issues. However, theres a large history of modding and different matchmaking that new people wont ever get to experience. I think the ideal way to remedy this situation is to just give away PTD with purchases of the remaster, but I dont thjnk theyll ever do it. Regardless of your opinion on DSR tho, it's a million times better than this thread
