Tactics Ogre is nice since the magic, and by extension, witches are overpowered. She can upgrade into a slutty enchantress but it's a optional and the stat losses aren't the end of the world. Play the SNES version with the dialogue patch. The PSP version is "rebalanced" so they took out a lot of the fun magics and completely borked the leveling system.
