Would be nice if they'd started doing that back on the PS2 (compare pics related), but then again, that generation was something of a breather for companies coming from jewel cases anyhow, in that they didn't have to put in the extra effort for tray card art when cases weren't clear anymore. Do kind of wish they'd have at least left the PS4 logo tab on the spine blue for cohesion with other games on a shelf, and the spine font feels bland (I get that Helvetica or whatever is easily readable, but it's also boring), but reversible art is appreciated. If you ask me though, they should have stuck to the original JP cover in the first place, rather than risk angering series fans the way they did.

When the western cover art was first released, there was a thread about it here and I raised the question of "Why not just make it a reversible cover?" To extend on the thought though, there's no reason not to make better box arts or more "artistic" ones because no one actually buys games based off of the box art anymore so why hire some shitheel graphic designer to localize the boxart into something far worse than the japanese one which was made by an actual artist involved with the game with the subject matter in mind.
