I've been looking for days, and I found absolutely zero answers, NONE. Long story short, I've been playing fallout 4 a while back. Got a good 800 hours on it, but at some point, the pc restarted itself twice, both times at a certain section. Afterwords, when I tried to turn on the game a third time, everything worked, the game seems to have put itself in "Hyper low" settings of sort, draw distance is so poor, the entire towns and locations load around me. That is, when they even load up at all, often times, I was left "outrunning" the game world, and staring at a void in front of me, waiting to load. I even discovered that instead of fixing it, lazy fucks at bethesda disabled the sprint button if the game detects the area hasn't loaded in yet. I should mention that nothing fixed this, I tried fiddling with ini settings, and nothing worked, the game reset it's settings and set the game to ultra low LOD at start by itself. It's also then, out of the blue, I saw that fallout games cannot detect my GPU(Them and only them)
So yeah, f3, an ancient fucking game, still had the same problem. I just gave up at that point, but today, I came back to play some other games, and it happened to all of them. 100% of them, I barely noticed it at first because I played some fast paced multi games, but when I started playing single player and coop stuff, I remembered this happening a month or two ago in fallout. Same exact fucking issue
I have seen no fixes for this anywhere on the web. Some people say its the problem with the game, others that it's the problem with my gpu, others say it's the problem with my drivers, and others say it's the problem with my PSU(Which might be possible, remember, my PC DID restart twice, and F4 is a very demanding game). I dunno what to believe, but my only fix seems to be reinstalling the OS, and some people say that this STILL doesn't fix their problems. What the fuck do I even have left, at that point? Anyone ever had this issue before? I don't need to put down my hardware, I know for a fact that all my games worked 100%, each and every single one of them, and I got dozens to hundreds of hours to prove that, so this has nothing to do with my rig not being able to play them
