Yes OP, they've got the best battle system of any JRPG. Emulate them, or pirate the PC version of II. If you know Jap then play the Saturn version of I.

II on PC turned out alright. I would be concerned with Grandia I though, as porting a PS1 game to PC has to require a lot more work than a 6th gen game that ran on WIndows CE hardware.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they use the Saturn version instead.

Nice trips, and Lufia is indeed great, but I always preferred the real-time/turn-based mix of Grandia. If only the last two games weren't so shit. Grandia 3 is still probably the most fucking boring JRPG I've ever played.

I really recommend emulating Grandia 1 just so that you can fast forward through the goddamn spell animations. They can't be skipped and you need to spam them in order to train your magic skills, so it really eats a LOT of time.

I don't know, SCEJ still lets a good amount of lewd games on their systems (even if SCEA and SCEE, or just regular publishers, don't want them here), so I'd think a pair of HD upscales of some classic JRPGs would still be welcome at least natively.
