No, there are lots of other options. Like "the flynn effect doesn't actually exist" and "the flynn effect doesn't continue outside of the years it was observed in". Both of these are true. The flynn effect did not look at IQs, it looked at results of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children. That test is only marginally g loaded. It isn't testing intelligence, it is testing intelligence and a bunch of other shit. It is primarily the other shit that has improved, not intelligence. There has been a small increase in actual IQ, as measured by real IQ tests like ravens matrices. That occurred due to increased nutrition. You can not invent non-existent data from before that testing was done just because you want to. The fact that IQs increased 5 points over 60 years does not mean they improved 5 points every 60 years before that. The time frame in the 1930s and 40s was during the depression and WW2, when malnutrition was at its highest. There is nothing to suggest that IQs had been increasing before the 1950s.
