Just get the HDD ready torrent pack that has all the games. You don't have to download all of it right away or mod in a larger HDD just hook your xbox up to your computer through FTP and use the 8-10gig HDD that's in it to load games from there. Much faster load times.
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe seems like a horrible experience thanks to the huge deadzone on that controller
Sonic Heroes has an active modding scene on PC and that Sonic collection is also available there
Halo: Combat Evolved is better on PC thanks to no slowdown and higher resolution
Ninja Gaiden Black is fine if you don't have a PS3 to play Sigma
Otogi, JSRF and Gunvalkyrie are stuck on OG xbox but aren't that amazing
Beyond Good and Evil is another game best played on PC

I like Super monkey ball and hated the deluxe version on ps2, so I want to see if it's at least somewhat better on xbox. Also, after doing some comparisons, I concluded that Beyond good and evil and Ninja gaiden have their best versions on xbox. My PC can't run Sonic heroes or Mega collection because of how old they are, and I don't feel like doing major workarounds when I own those games on other consoles. Panzer Dragoon Orta is self-contained enough that you shouldn't have any issue understanding the story or the world even if you haven't played the other games. It even has an in-game codex with unlockable entries bonus features section. It has lore details on just about every enemy you encounter, it's pretty extensive. Also don't forget that the entire first game in the series is an unlockable too.

Here's the thing. There are a lot of hardcore CE fags that like to shit on Halo 2. Yes, the levels were more linear and corridor-y. Yes some of the covenant weapons were frivolous and pretty much functionally the same as their human counterparts. But you forget. CE had a shitton of backtracking and reused levels. Halo 2 did not.
Halo 2 improved on the gameplay and added to the fun factor by adding detail.

I thought of doing that but I realized that it is pointless and it's better for users to decide. I'd upload the original .pdn or .png variant but the HDD with that file is currently in a PC that isn't working at the moment and frankly I can't be bothered to pull it out. The font is called 1979. The reason I didn't include it is because there's too many instances where the PC port is not the best version and because if you're looking for a list of Xbox games to play, when you look the game up and see what else it is available on, you can decide for yourself where you want to play it. Nobody here is offended we're seeing deliberate misinformation being spread and are wondering why you're lying. Yes the xbox generally has the best version if the game is only available on the consoles of that era. But if there's a PC port you get fans that create patches, mods and fixes to improve the graphics. If looked at without that essential component perhaps you're right but it's quite a stretch.
I mean just look at this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_with_alternate_display_modes and notice that even with XBE patches almost all the games are stuck at 854x480 if you've got widescreen. Otherwise it's 640x480, the few that can do 720p require memory or CPU upgrades and still have graphical issues. And that's with the slower loading times and sub 30 FPS during hectic scenes that a PC built in the last 10 years won't have compared to a console from 2001.
And after wasting a dozen minutes marking all the games on that chart which have PC ports I do agree with you that it's pointless considering most games aren't worth hunting down the best version. It is missing a few decent games like Star Wars Republic Comando, KOTOR and Jade Empire.

I have a small idea for a project I want to do sometimes, basically make a list of every XBOX multiplat and try to list whether there's a real advantage or downsides over the other versions of that game out there, mainly because people say all kind of shit about that without any backing to it.

If you're too technically incompetent to actually set up a gaming pc properly then yes I agree you're both right that consoles are the way to go. Sub 30 FPS and 640x480 are both acceptable if the alternative is a tiny bit of work and using some intelligence you don't have.

I went far enough into the project to get the answer I wanted Which is to say most people are spreading FUD and people didn't seem interested about it so there's no real incentive for me to continue further, especially since it's gonna be another couple week of 12/7 computer babysitting and watching the same benchmarks several hundred times more with no or minimal differences which believe it or not isn't fun or interesting.

Most Tom Clancy titles on the Xbox are separate games, different from their PC counterparts. This one was especially interesting, though not exactly the best.
Critical Hour was released as a response to criticism of Lockdown PC port not being tactical enough (the Xbox and PS2 versions seemed better to me) and not living up to the quality set up by Rogue Spear and Raven Shield. By then the console and PC Rainbow fanbases couldn't be any more different.
So what did Ubi do to appease the PC fans? They released a game remaking classic Rainbow maps and released it on a platform they didn't own.
It sold abysmally and had a gamebreaking bug that didn't allow you co finish the campaign. I still want to see it in full glory.

As a sidenote gathering info on xbox multiplats is far more interesting than I would have thought, just need to kinda find a way to format those info afterwards
