I've made progress on my Hestonworld POSTAL 2 run but I accidentally deleted my saves. Welp I guess I have to start again. I personally find Hestonworld difficulty to change my game style. Instead of breaking into houses and shooting the living fuck out of people like a genocidal maniac, I had to check my corners, make stealthy moves to make sure no one sees me doing suspicious shit, and most importantly, trying to find various places which have secret stashes of weapons and health powerups. It actually made POSTAL 2 fun in an alternative way.
What aspect of POSTAL series did you enjoy? What was your favorite game?

It's fun to try and behave for as long as possible but once shit hits the fan you're just replacing one annoyance with another. That's how I see the game, as an annoyance simulator. It's really, really good at that.

Postal 2's expansion was one of the best expansions I've ever played. Nostalgia also played a huge role, coming back to new content for a game I played like 15 years ago alone made me quite happy

Which is not a bad thing. The game has a level literally referencing The Wace Siege and in the 3rd party mod A Week In Paradise it references The Columbine High School Massacre with zombies. By the way, reminder to try out Eternal Damnation standalone if you haven't already, 10/10 would recommend. It's like a B-list movie made into a videogame.

There's no need to shoot. Just use a bladed weapon like the hedge clippers or the machete and cut the arms off of anyone trying to kill you. With the way the AI works, enemies will run away the second they've been disarmed.

I've beaten Postal 2's Steam distro on POSTAL difficulty, having previously done so in AWP before the release of the Steam distro. I'd found it somewhat underwhelming, actually - this was something like four years ago now, and the Steam distro may or may not have been updated with any more of the content from AWP, but at the time it was missing a lot of the content from AWP that really added to higher difficulty playthroughs.
