Has anyone bothered to follow this non-game at all after the second season?
I thought the first one was a comfy movie to watch on jewtube, second one was a bit convoluted and you could tell the poz was coming on but at least Kenny was always right
I could just tell everything was starting to go to shit and when I heard that the beginning of the 3rd season basically makes what you did for the first 2 almost pointless with certain characters being killed off I stopped paying what little attention I did to this series.
I also noticed nobody was talking about this anywhere. I'm guessing most of the fanbase left or something for similar reasons or just because of the sheer amount of jewery (episodic formats of games are cancer) going on

The reason people stopped giving a shit about this series is that they tried to make Clem the protagonist of the whole thing. In S1 she was just a cheap means of getting the players emotionally invested by appealing to their paternal instincts, and she worked well in that regard. From S2 onwards they tried to make it so the entire saga was Clem's story, but it became harder to give a shit about her when she was no longer a cute loli we had to protect.
S2 was also just quite poorly written. It's very telling that the most popular and well liked character in S2 was the only returning S1 character. The rest were just really forgettable and it meant that most players were reduced to apathy about them by the end.
