Tinfoil, which is packaged with ReiNX, is the homebrew program used to install NSP files (the Switch equivalent of .cia). However: you should not go online with NSP installs because Nintendo can detect them somehow and then ban you from online services. In fact, even while offline there is possibly some, still being researched system logging that can detect CFW, Homebrew, and NSP installs. So install NSPs at your own risk.

VR cardboard is dirt cheap, if they want to do some anniversary shit they'll probably announce LaboVR with a trailer and a release date of summer 2020.
Throughout the year there'd be a number of VR directs to activate the xenoestrogens, and then a few weeks prior to LaboVR's release the nuSwitch+ feat. a Tegra Xavier with a 90hz 1080p OLED screen is announced at E3.
Knowing their fanbase Kiketendo would have zero issues getting away with this even if it ends up overpriced as fuck.

Considering it is only £200 I think all headsets will drop in price soon.

This probably has to do with a third party headset that's being released in Japan soon or as a test for a newer smaller version of the Switch that's in development.
While there have been patents from Nintendo from years ago for a headset that would accept a Switch like console it doesn't make sense with the current hardware thanks to the giant screen. Asides for having terrible pixel density the optics in it would be incredibly expensive and heavy.
