The line up this year looks extremely promising, it seems fan creators are finally learning how to make 3D games thanks to the Bumper Engine, although the Dash Engine looks even better in the teaser. Also there's no Sonic Utopia demo since the guys working on that wanna make a bigger demo rather than just a single stage, additionally there's a Sonic Advance remake also coming to SAGE which looks cool.

In any case, Sonic Islands and Super Mario Flashback look really cool and are probably my personal favorites.

There's a few communities where they're going strong. Sonic and Mario are probably the largest. Mega Man after them. Metroid has a decent community going, too.

Hyper Metroid and Metroid Rogue Dawn are some of the best games I've played last year and I take every chance I have to recommend them. "Ancient Chozo" also looks really nice.

I hope Metroid X-Fusion actually gets finished. It's reaching Megaman X Corrupted levels of vaporware.

Well, I just want to finally see a good 3D sonic game and Islands and Utopia have been the closet thing to getting close to a foundation. Seems after Forces/Mania had all the fan creation autist excited for SA3, there is a revival of wanabe game creators working to be the "Taxman" for 3D.
