Also, while I can't say much for the subject matter, the author has seems to have a knack for setting up suspension of disbelief from the get-go. Things just happen and it flows well, despite the absurdity of it all. A lot of people can't help but pierce the fourth wall and ruin it.
The art style also has some kind of strange appeal, despite being very gritty and drifting into unreadability.

The problem with this is that due to the anonymous nature of imageboards, it always works. Foolz, is proof enough, as well as the "monkey ladder" and "descarte community" images try to say.
