Metal Gear Survive and Dying Light come to mind.

I assume you’ve played modded L4D2? If not definitely go for that as some of the fan made campaigns are amazing. There’s a Disney World one that’s 10/10. Other than that Titanfall 2 has a solid one and is the only good game EA has made in the past 10 years, but you have to put up with the misery that is Origin to play it.

Dying Light is pretty damn slow and tedious. Running around the large open world feels slow and tedious and hitting zombies in the heads over and over again gets old real quick.

Well, if you want fast zombie shootan you can just play Counter Strike Zombie mod run server.

That's probably the best experience.

Maybe there's also zombie mod for swen coop too, but i don't know.

vermintide 1 and 2 are cool, its like l4d with class differences and trades modern setting for warhammer. it's better than i initially expected

Haven't tried 2 but I heard good things about it like better loot system. Codename Cure is ok, but nothing to write home to. Helldivers is cool too.

Frankly, any horde game would be fun if you play with friends.

Definitely agree with Verm2. That game kept my attention for a while and it’s still the only horde game I enjoyed playing alone or with complete strangers. Really, the only reason I stopped playing it was due to needing some extra space for a big torrent file and forgetting to reinstall it after.

Nah, I actually bought it and it was well worth the money. It fixed every issue I had with 1 (which was mostly just the horrendous loot system) and supposedly they are going to be giving it heavy mod support down the line. If you like Vermintide 1 by all means get Vermintide 2.

THIS, sven has so much map variety and good gamemods its crazy how good it is for multi-player. The only downside is how few players still play on the old and steam versions. A great game if you have the players, might try and would do great as another gamenight.
