what the fuck man what gives? i searched and all that shows up is forumbabbies arguing about how developers need to eat and bots are not necessary and blah blah blah.

Does anyone know of any mods or fan patches that add bots BACK in to the goddamn game? Or do I need to emulate on PCSX2 to get my fix? I really don't understand why a feature has been removed but the game still costs 10 dollars on retail sites.

i….what? im just trying to see if i can put bots back in the game. purefaction is the only patch i see, i can't find anything else. the community doesn't seem very big so im hoping someone here knows something i dont.

Then just play the fucking PS2 version.

They probably didn't put bots on the PC version because they assumed people would actually play online, whereas almost nobody had a chance to play the PS2 online.

Bots aren't easy to implement in an engine unless they're specifically built for it

There aren't any patches to do this. There are some custom servers that have bots but apparently the bots are actually clients running a custom script.

I've read that the bots on the PS2 version of the game were also just singleplayer AI scripted to run around the map in a loop.
