At the CC I went to some years back, there was a PS3 set up in the student lounge for people to use, and occasionally there would be some people playing less-than-normalfag-interest games on it. Still, it's much easier to find people of like interest when you have a bigger sea to trawl from. So what if i like to try and quickscope on MW2, or build giant towers on minecraft? I like those normalfag games that everybody has heard of. I'm a pretty basic person.

Most of the people I know play League, PUBG/Fortnite, or gay f2p games like War Thunder. Of the friends willing to play decent games, one of them is often too busy, two of them won't touch strategy games (which are my favourite), and another 3 are super loners who won't even tell me when they're online. Those 3 will at least do LANs so I'll give them that.

My busy friend is by far the one who aligns with my interests best, so him not being able to game much hurts the most. Our biggest games are Doom, Helldivers, Supreme Commander, Dawn of War, Sword of the Stars, Insurgency, and recently we've been trying Stellaris (though as of my first few hours, I feel like Stellaris might be kind of shitty as a multiplayer game).

My LAN friends have been playing Pulsar: Lost Colony with me, and we're all getting Monster Hunter World on PC (assuming the port is good), so I can't even say they're bad.

It has Denuvo, and if that alone isn't enough for you to disregard it, based on the system requirements shown it's probably not very well optimized, especially compared to most MT Frameworks games. The recommended specs say you'll need a GTX1060 to run it at 30fps 1080p on high. For comparison, Nioh gets 60fps at 1080p with a GTX1060. Nioh isn't MT Frameworks, but it's the most recent game comparable to World to get a port from PS4 to PC that I can think of. RE7, a fairly recent MT Frameworks game, lists the same hardware recommendations as World but for 60fps instead of 30fps.

Basically before the age of 25, the frontal cortex hasn't fully developed in the brain. I don't know the numbers but heavy usage before this age can can really stunt growth in this area of the brain. After 25 it's pretty much fine I'd guess,outside of doing literal fuck tons of it

On its own is pretty much the best ARPG i've played on my ps4.

I spent the most amount of time in that game too compared to all of my other console games only 240+ hours

As a MH game it fucks up on some no brainer things but it still has the basic formula down so its just as addicting as the previous games.

Obviously i don't like what they are doing…look, i would call them out but personal preference is personal preference. If it's not directley harming me then by all means, do you. Just don't force me be a part of what you like. That's the whole point behind all my posts so far. It's ok if you think what i enjoy/play is not good or bad, and i'm totally fine with you voicing your opinion. I can also say i like certain things over others and if i choose to only play a select dozen or so games, let me. There is no point in telling me i can't play those games as i will still play them anyways.

But as long as we can somewhat get along, things should be ok. Sure, if somebody is doing something i really don't like i will call them out for it (kind of going back on what i said previously) but i'm not going to linger on it if they aren't really affecting me. A good example of this is that my friend really likes corn and i hate corn. Whenever he tells me he is eating corn, i tell him corn is disgusting, but i never have or will say he has bad taste, as that's just what he likes. There is a line of course where i put my foot down and tell somebody they are not right but that is reasonably rare for me to cross that point of going from "That's just what you enjoy." to "You are horrible and what you like is shit."

So yes, i have my limits on what i will tolerate, but do not force me to drop what i like and play what you like becuase you don't like what i play or enjoy. It's like telling me to stop eating hummus, i will never stop no matter how much you tell me to stop. So, i hope this post was respectful and well-worded enough to end any possible confusion or arguments about what i play, enjoy and do with my life. Have a good day/ night.
