ToonTown Corporate Clash is a brand new ToonTown private server that just opened to the public a few hours ago.
It has done major reworks around the entire game, from the gag textures to the leveling system, gag tracks and cogs, along with brand new places.

Yeah, Toontown Rewritten had some problems with their servers too, most notably during Toonfest, where a single new event area makes the whole game laggy anywhere for a month. Maybe they fucked up their programming and something is screwing their server. Remember that this is the first time Corporate Clash, which add tons of new content, has been tested by a playerbase larger than maybe 30 people at a time.

You can still green them. Last VP I did(in Rewritten) we greened 2 tards.
First we greened a 55 laffer that was training with his shit gags and then greened the guy that greened the 55 laffer while we watched because he tried to green me too afterwards and then ran out of gags(a 117 laffer that went in with lvl 3 gags).
The fight did last a while, still fun as hell.

Greening is basically making someone else die. Most of the times its done by stronger people who intentionally fuck up when battling letting the cogs(enemies) freely hit everyone while they heal each other and wait for the other guy to die.
This process takes a while most of the times so there's lots of agony and things you can do to play around.
Few people do it, sometimes your team full of normal people decides to do it because of people being fags(like in my last VP). At first, this random guy decided to kill this low laffer(55) that had no level 5 gags and was even training(process that most of the time slows down fights and enables people to get hit).
Me and the other guy(4 in total) kept commenting that the one doing it was trying a rather unique strategy and such while laughing and letting him do it by not healing the weak guy. After killing the weak guy, he proceeded to try to kill me. When he started trying to kill me I just commented it and the other guy said I was fine(I'm not weak, 95 laff and lvl 6 gags). While he was still trying to kill us, he ran out of gags(attacks). Noticing it, I asked if a could train my trap for a while(which assures that no matter what the cog won't be stunned at the end of the round), the other guy got the message and started to "help" me while the other one kept passing and saying that he was really low on laff. Meanwhile, on the other side, where other 4 people were battling, they could only hear and imagine what was happening.
When their battle was over, since one of us died, one of them was able to join our fight and helped me keep "training" until his death. It took like 10 minutes while other toon asked for help, constantly stating his health number.
You can also green people by pushing afks into battles. In boss fights, "greening" a strong toon like we did gifts them a 2+ hours grindfest so they can do that boss again.
The weak one isn't going to do a VP for a while too, unless he's stubborn enough to give up his missions/tasks to do a few factory runs. Which will also net him some time taking in account the time it will take for someone to take him for a run, and how long they are going to take since he is so weak.

Oh, sucks to hear it. About the "fuck with the game itself" thing, do you have any links on that? Sounds like some stupid rumor spread by tech illiterate kids. Hard to think they didn't have a single backup for the server/game files outside of the server itself, plus this could even mean that the game is not safe since it contains a virus. This is why you don't see the Disney-based NPC, e.g. Mickey, Goofy, etc. in the playgrounds of any private server. CC just went above and beyond and removed the presence of such characters entirely. I'm surprised Rewritten hasn't done something similar by now, and that they haven't had an army of lawyers descend upon them because of it.

Since this game is very different from Rewritten mechanically, the meta will look very different, and no one knows what it is yet. In Rewritten, both Trap and Drop were considered the weakest gags, and were the ones most commonly passed over. Both of said gags ended up being buffed on this server.
Some of the following is theoretical:

+Excellent in group settings in cases where not every cog is defeated or lure misses
+Is the only reliable method of healing in battle, aside from single-use "items" (SOS cards, Unites) and Doodles, which are fucking garbage
-Completely useless in solo play

+Literally cannot miss if cog gets lured successfully
-Reliant on lure, making it difficult to train, especially early on
>Lure
+Basically necessary in group settings, since it temporarily disables cogs from attacking, acting as a crowd control of sorts

-An absolute bitch to train, everything before Big Magnet is shit
>Sound
+OP as fuck in cog facilities and boss battles
+Very easy to train due to how commonly it's used
-Mediocre for soloing
-Garbage prestige bonus
-Loses some spotlight from inclusion of Zap

+High accuracy, reasonable damage
+Got a huge buff thanks to the inclusion of Zap
+Great beginner's track
-Not as strong as Throw in many situations

Throw will probably be was squirt is in TTR: Sort of a supplementary gag to the single-target gags above it. Throw didn't get buffed because it was stupid good in TTO, and by extension TTR. That said, it's not a terrible choice to forgo it entirely.
So I'd definitely go with Squirt/Zap if you plan on going throwless, provided you intended to use both of them.
Also, there's a task that requires you to turn in 5 of the level 3 gag of your first track, which is the left-hand one in the character creation screen, so make sure it's a track you intend on getting plenty of usage out of, lest you suffer. Thankfully Sound was my first instead of trap.

Fun fact: TTRewritten has a similar instance, but they still have the original linux version from TTOriginal that didn't break with their little updates. It runs way faster on linux.
Places load in less than a second and the game is 100% smooth, even in beanfests.

ToonTown Corporate Clash is a brand new ToonTown private server that just opened to the public 4 days ago. It has done major reworks around the entire game, including new tracks and areas. Progression has changed completely. You won't have to wait until you are 60 laff before you get to do something other than buildings. There's new content that you'll bump into before making it to 40.

It has a capacity for 40 members and there's instant club chat anywhere. We're currently sitting at 11 members. There are other anons playing, but they still haven't joined the club that is fairly recent.

It's not that important, but we've been trying to stay in Whistle Woods. Probably not worth the risk of crashing teleporting there, with the club we can now teleport to each other no matter the district anyway.

Depends on when you want to play. Around 3AM~9AM US time you can play for hours without crashing. During the day it's really hard to go more than half an hour without having the game close on you.
I'm not sure how long this situation will last, their servers have improved a lot and we've been seeing daily patches trying that have been improving the situation. They got new servers a few hours ago, so no one knows how playable it'll be like today. As in the time of making this thread, I still haven't tested their new servers.
On an additional note, they've been also been getting DDoSed from the very first day by a retarded underaged kid whose goal in life is to ruin the project.

Squirt was already good originally. Everyone had it, it almost never misses, and it increases the accuracy of gags that come after it. I forget the combinations (It's been years) but the damage was good enough to kill higher levels with only two fire hoses.
