Shake It's WAH is alright but nowhere near the same. Speaking of that, I finally played SI and finished it today. I was expecting pretty looking mediocre shite and got a contender for my favorite in the series. And at least with no health upgrades, the last two bosses felt like decent fights, which is one of my only complaints with the series: the bosses are almost always either piss easy or annoying. The new rendition of Greenhorn Ruins' BGM gave me a raging erection, and while I feel the OST wasn't perfectly representative of WAH all the time like 4 was, it had a huge selection, was cheery, and put me in a fantastic mood the entire time, Foulwater Falls and Mt. Lavalava being prime examples.

Yeah, I've been going for those as well. Missions made me scared at first, because playing the first level I thought that they were cheevos which brought bile to my mouth, but then seeing they were just extra challenges for every level I saw that they were a great addition in adding an in-game reward for doing well, even if CD's are more or less cosmetic because you can find the OST online, it still feels rewarding to finally get that mission complete, and I think adding checkpoints works well (though I kind of wish you could save a checkpoint for reuse so you don't have to go from the start when doing mutually exclusive missions).

Without missions, the game is pretty easy, but if you force yourself to play the missions, it can get pretty damn hard. I was never able to beat all boss missions.
Some levels even have not using a checkpoint as the mission, but those weren't that hard if I recall correctly.

As I slowly approach 100%, I have to say my only real complaint with Shake It is that you can't do the shoulder dash into crouch that let you slide a bit any more. That was in 2 all the way up until 4 so I don'tunderstand why they didn't include it. At least you can do a high power version of it while using the dash machines.

I like this design. First time through I took no health upgrades or restoratives, so the last two bosses were actually something of a challenge. I look forward to facing the king again for the missions. Speaking of the king, he's probably the best wah fight ever, both thematically as a match for Wahrio, and just as it actually being well designed for the game.

A venerable staple for a lot of Nintendo games in the last decade. The games are a cinch to beat or get ONE ending (moreso with some games having some assist mode if you fuck up enough), but there's always that 100%, those bonus unlocks and levels that you can only see if you're good enough.

I think 4 is extremely accessible while not changing the formula up that much, unlike shake it which is still quite good but removes most of the transformations and is ultimately much simpler than the other entries. All the Game Boy Wario Lands are excellent, you can't go wrong with any of them. WL4 is my personal favorite.
Wario World (Gamecube) has fun combat, but the game isn't nearly as deep as the Game Boy games. Can't recommend it as much.
WL Shake It is just WL4 with anime graphics and worse mechanics. Up to you whether to try it or not.
Virtual Boy Wario Land is also a fantastic game and pretty much the only reason to ever own a Virtual Boy.
Warioware Twisted is probably the absolute best game in the Warioware series but you can't emulate it because it needs the gyroscope it came with. So this one is cartridge or nothing.

Zero Mission concept art (not even art in the actual game, just the concept art) and Super Metroid ending are the only times she's really shown muscle either in-game either.

If you mean by Sprite work, cutscenes or ending art? Then nah. Her proportions were ridiculous in Metroid 1 sprite, she has goddamn cleavage in the Metroid II ending artwork, and even slightly smaller potrayals like Super Metroid and Fusion still clock in as bigger. Of course Zero Mission goes even bigger both in cutscenes and in her ending art. She always had a pair tits bigger then what Smash Ultimate portrays in-game (not talking about the official ZSS Smash Ultimate render which is in my opinion much better then her actual in-game model). Honestly had the Smash Ultimate ZSS model been more accurate to her actual render I would not have a problem. It's so bad in comparison.
