Don't have a backlog, it just creates the sense of obligation in your mind. Play what you want, when you want, while in the moment. If you never play the game you've meant to play, then it probably means that you just weren't that interested in playing it in the first place.

Ask yourself why. There's no such thing as a backlog.
I'd better replay something I enjoy than play shit so boring I didn't bother to start/finish. Or even do something else.
Games are entertainment. Like imagine having backlog of porn. Shit that makes your dick full turtle mode, MLP or something, will you still make yourself "finish' it?

It's an isometric game that has some quirky writing. You beat monsters to get items and money to get armor and weapons to beat monsters to explore new regions. The music's pretty good, the art is ass-centric, and the village people can be murdered for fun and profit.
Don't take my word for it and buy it like a fucking idort. Pirate it and play it for yourself, holy shit.

If you have to force yourself to play games in your backlog, you either have something else you enjoy doing or don't enjoy the games in your backlog. Go back to playing AAA garbage, remove the unfun games from your backlog or take a break from games to work off your possible video game burnout.

Stop using backlogs this way.
I use my backlog so I don't forget cool games I've seen, and I only check it when I feel like playing something. If you have to force yourself, you're just perverting your backlog into some kind of self-imposed masochistic punishment.

The best fallout is Wasteland for the C64. Or if you're into tabletop, Gamma World or the TMNT rpg.
fe4915 No.15049166
unpopular opinion here but fallout 3 was better than new vegas, new vegas on teh surface seems like it gives you choice but it's an illusion of choice, you aren't even allowed to go anywhere you want, you are forced into one direction and start and the edge of the map. in fallout 3 you are in the center of the map and can go in any direction you choose, of course the game devs steer you into a direction through level design but you could always ignore it.

5c39b5 No.15049197
>>15049166
The only reason 3 lets you go in any direction is due to enemies scaling with your level, meaning everything from raiders to super mutants can be killed fairly easily since their health, damage and gear is relative to yours. NV has an open map like 3, but has the balls to say "This is where the spider wasps and giant lizards live. You can go there, but they can and WILL facefuck you to death if you aren't prepared".

0f9787 No.15050036
My backlog is 1000's of games. I'll never get through it and that's something I find great comfort in because it means endless video games for the rest of my life without having to spend a penny more. Think of a backlog less like a to-do list and more like a fallout shelter filled with supplies for when the bad times come.
