It's like the older version of Fortnite - something that people who don't play video games pick up to fuck about with friends. It seems like a massive waste of money, but they are the same people who will buy $1000 iPhones once every two years or less, and drop $25 every month to go watch a new capeshit in the cinema.

FIFA is just an RPG for normalfags. They treat it like an RPG. They recruit "party members" for their teams, they fuss over stats, but it comes with the added bonus of real-life allegiances to places and/or animals.

It's just a shame that it's based on a game that could be good if it weren't for the fact that players are constantly enticed to fake injuries like little bitches for penalties, and it makes them, and their sport, look like it's solely for weak-ass faggots.

Hell, 90s sports games, on the Genesis and SNES, were not too bad. You could have some proper fun with those. And the NES ones were absolutely random, too, you never knew what you were gonna get.

Football-games went to shit the moment they took away the ability to tackle the goalkeeper for an easy red card. I think 2003 or something, same year they took away the arrows so you basically had to guess instead where the ball was going to go on corners and free kicks.

Simply put it's rosterfaggotry. Everyone really wants to play their "teams" and as such constantly play the newest iterations because of roster changes. Why they don't just get PES and make their own custom teams modeled after current rosters is beyond me.

Less an RPG, more Fantasy Football/Baseball/Basketball that existed a decade before that became a thing. It lets retards think they are actually accomplishing something, with slightly more interactivity than just rooting for the home team.

This happens in every sport where fouls or penalties exist. It's rampant in basketball (where it takes the form of falling on your ass and throwing up your hands like "the fuck, nigger??"), in hockey where a simple cross-check or shove into the glass can be made to look worse if you fall onto the ice, and increasingly in football since the refs decided quarterbacks are made of glass and the slightest tap is penalty-worthy.
