Some games I've been playing that have a nice "summer" vibe to them, I always tend to go back to them around this time of year:

I dont really have summertime games, I dont even like summer. I have been playing Shantae half genie hero though and its pretty good, id say its a pretty good fit for summer time gaming.

Banished + Colonial Charter.

The seasonal changes ingame make it a good comfy game for just about any season, but I mostly play it during summer and the dead of winter.

Dead Island even though I personally think it sucks, my buddy owned it and hocked it after 500 hrs of gameplay. said it was boring

The Mega Man series got a lot of play during the summer when I was a kid (sue me, I grew up in the late 80s/early 90s)

Civilization series

Turok 1 and 2.

PSO2's summer events always put me in a summer mood then infuriate me due to drop rates so low that you can only observe them in the Large Hadron Collider.

Me too.

Technically it was May of 2002 but close enough. And maybe it's the nice feeling of the rainfalls when they happen, that was by far my favorite part of Morrowind.
