Well everyone says to use CloneCD but I'm not sure what settings you need on it. The redump admin actually messaged me last week and said that some of my dumps had a cut off audio track because the offset was incorrect and I wasnt using a drive with overread (he recommended Plextor.) Thank God that effort isn't justified for most Magazine CDs I have managed to preserve, because the Game being in German was a huge selling point at the time. You can also assured that nobody will give a shit about the Kraut games, because the original studios are dead and anything that ends up as a free extra of German Computer magazine has reached the status of nuclear waste. A good example of that is the Computerbild Version of Torchlight that was given out when Torchlight 2 just came out. At the moment I am going through all the extra stuff I have from the timeperiod a crapton of software was uploaded onto the Internet for free.

Yeah Zyclunt is out already and so is XTOM but those are the original Korean versions, mine are the Japanese releases. So you could say "well it's not important if the games are already available" but if you don't want to catalog alternate language versions your claims to caring about preservation kind of go out the window. So the fact that no one bothered to leak my considerable folder of localized games, despite containing rare Japanese versions of The Dig, The Neverhood, Deus Ex, Burn:Cycle, etc, is pretty telling to me.
