>What? Google doesn't get tax dollars. Google is terrible but don't spread disinfo.

They don't need the IRS to tax you, they have the Federal Reserve to do that for them. They probably prefer it that way, only people with an attention span above 10 seconds can be guided through how it works:

>Federal Reserve prints money, causing inflation. Your bank account reads the same, but your dollars are worth less than before.

>Federal Reserve then loans this money to the largest investment banks, banks the Fed is totally not secretly working for guise.

>Big investment banks then turn around and loan money to companies they like, like Google. To the tune of billions. They like Google, one example of why being that Google directly assisted the Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign. Hillary Clinton was many things, but investment banker whore was definitely one of them. That's the kind of "team player" Google is.

>Google can then afford to throw away a billion a year plus on Youtube alone (to pick one example), thanks to this never-ending stream of freely-acquired funny money. Now Youtube can exist forever and be as shitty as it wants. It's already hard to beat a big established player in the free market everybody already uses. It's basically impossible when they're subsidized by the government.

>This of course applies to every Google product and service, except their search/advertising division, which is profitable. Everything else loses money. Not that they care.

Also, I've heard Google got a lot of their starting capital from the CIA's hedge fund, back in the 90s I guess. But I haven't looked into that, myself.

The rising trend of attempting to insert Codes of Conduct as a way of forcing SJW behaviors (and then being so brazen as to repeatedly assert CoC's apply to private life and not simply project conduct) into Git projects has also been noted for many years. It's best to escape the github mess, post-haste.

Look, you're new as fuck here so I'll clue you in on a bit of history. 8chan has faced this problem of nu/pol/ ever since Jim went ape and shoah'd the site from hotwheels. When this happened, a lot of people left the site, with good people. In fact, /pol/'s entire moderation team, with one or two exceptions (imkampfy and the other dumbfuck whose name I cannot remember atm), resigned in protest of the hijacking of the site. imkampfy and his butt buddy proceeded to run /pol/ into the ground and turn it into the kind of cancer it never was before, and in doing so, managed to attract a lot of attention from the kind of halfchan /pol/ idiots we never had to put up with before. The 2016 election in particular drove the halfchanners, /r/the_donald tools, and so forth out to this site in record numbers. Gone was "Evidence motherfucker" and "hugboxing is cancer" and in was "omg spoonfeeding" and "reported for being a shill/cuck/leftypol/whateverthefuck". Groupthink was enforced and promoted by the new insane /pol/ moderation policies and worse still, these /pol/ idiots wouldn't lurk moar or respect the fucking board culture of the boards they went to. They decided to shit up all the boards with their retarded behavior, derail to completely off-topic shit, throw hissy fits every time you call them out on their antics, tell you that all of 8chan is /pol/ (which it never was) and then insist you had to leave the website if you weren't part of their little hugbox. They would circlejerk, virtue signal to other nu/pol/tards, derail, generally post retarded fucking shit, and attempt to drive away the users who didn't appreciate their shit, by bitching/reporting/etc. It would've been one thing if they kept that cancer hugbox shit to their own board, but these idiots acted like they owned the entire fucking website, and so they became everyone's fucking problem.

I admit nu/pol/ has done a good job of convincing me of the horrors of immigrants invading the neighborhood en-masse, refusing to assimilate, destroying everything that was good about the place, and driving out the locals, because you newfag fuckers from halfchan and beyond all need to be deported.

Now get the fuck out of our neighborhood. You niggers are worse than /intl/ ever was.

What does /pol/ going to shit thanks to imkikey have to do with crying about politics on /v/? You wrote a bunch of shit I already knew about, but it has nothing to do with the subject matter. You are complaining that /pol/ was a far right safespace, yet here you're arguing that /v/ should be a safespace devoid of any references to politics, because some manchildren here can't handle serious content. Make up your mind, torpedo. Do you want an echo chamber, or not?

000000 No.14909461

>>14909356

Admittedly I went on a wee bit of a tangent there, but no. My issue is just how horribly fucking off-topic the shit can be and how horribly fucking retarded /pol/tards can be, and that nu/pol/ always claims they're the fucking center of the whole site while they're being called out for being a public nuisance. /pol/ has a magic talent for shoehorning /pol/ shit into topics that had fuck-all to do with it then shitflinging when they get called out for acting out. If the politics are actually fucking relevant then I don't give a shit and odds are I'd be game for contributing my two cents (believe me, I don't shy from a political conversation), but relevance needs something more than SJW = leftists = time to argue about immigration or whatever the fuck again at which point they thoroughly derailed off of the thread topic and have started shitting up a thread.

If the topic at hand is about diversity brigades shitting up perfectly good companies or new insane moderation policies that want to even ban you for the shit you do off-site and you want to bitch about the kinda bullshit these idiots come up with, then I will probably join you in that conversation. Just don't act like you own the place because you're nu/pol/. That shit's serious cancer.
