No, not really. Disney destroyed everything enjoyable about Star Wars and made the universe the size of New York City. Was Star Wars perfect? No, absolutely not it had a lot of problems,but it made up for those problems with imagination and creativity. The Dark Horse Expanded Universe comics had some of the coolest world building I've ever seen in supplemental material for a primarily cinematic series.
Before Disney bought it there could be stories that actually portrayed the Empire as the heroes without having them defect at the last minute and join the rebellion. The Expanded Universe allowed for all types of stories to be told, some were bad, yes, and some were absolutely fantastic. Now it's all nothing but generic reddit shit, Disney has made 4 movies, countless comics, a few books, a couple video games, and they're all entirely without substance.

Might be worth a pirate. The environments are modeled quite lovingly but man are the weapon and actual gameplay boring and uninspiring.
