He is telling you to read a guide because your complains are clearly from someone that doesn't understand the game mechanics.
Yes, you are a casual for, after failing miserably, refuse to read a guide to understand what is going on with the game.
Casuals do not look for the knowledge they are missing, they complain with bad arguments about something they don't like or don't understand, like you are doing.
No, I didn't miss any part of your post but it seems that you did miss mine. Bring scouting trinkets and scout skills for camping, if you knew the game mechanics, when you scout, even with 0 light, you will never be ambushed.
You should always take into account the trinkets a mission reward gives, the heirlooms, the level and last the area. If you whine about not having good trinkets, it's up to you to manage that risk bringing characters that have high accuracy on their skills and obviously improving their skills on the guild which increases the accuracy. If you do not have the heirlooms nor the gold, it's up to you to take into consideration risking your party to an area that they may not be prepared or to send other parties to low level areas to gather resources.
Extra 15-20% stun is a really big increase chance that can make a stun that "may happen" to a "100% stun chance", to the point that you will be able to stun even twice or three times in a row the same target even with the +40% stun resist they earn after being stunned.
If your stunners are doing something in town, then you are managing poorly the hamlet and making piss poor decisions on how to make a team.
You said previously, that you lost several LV3 characters and thus are explaining with this post how your Man At Arms died with two crits. That is simply impossible at Lv3 to one of the tankiest characters in the game, at best, with two heavy crits he should be on death's door, not dead. The houndmaster could shield the Man At Arms to avoid another Death's Door check but you didn't do that. Even with an Ambush, the ManAtArms should survive and be ready to either stun one of them, buff the party speed or debuff the opponent's speed to secure a full round of your guys going first lowering the risks.

You see, this is your biggest mistake. You are whinning about accuracy, and you bring the guy with the least accuracy in the entire game, an occultist with no secondary healer to avoid those 0 heals such as Crusader, Plague Doctor, Antiquarian or Arbalest.
In short, you fucking suck at managing, know jackshit of the mechanics and when you obviously get surprised by the game fucking you up, you blame the RNG.
