There is at least one tale in which Clef and Konnie are gay lovers ala Could and Sephiroth fangirls.
Additionally, you can look into the Fishmonger incident, which was when an author on the site was kicked out for being too mean, but then demanded that all of his entries be removed, which resulted in a shit load of rewrites due to his work being cross referenced by other authors. Which also resulted in the policy of no cross links which resulted in an ultimately less coherent site as there wasn't as much world building via intertextuality.
The overall tone of the foundation has also been changed, the earlier tone was admittedly lolrandum at times, but some of that stuff has been preserved by the site under the lolfoundation cannon. For me, the site tone change is by far a bigger issue then the retcons. Some stuff that would have been clear -j entry, like the 2000 series pokemon game that effects reality with a "hoenn confirmed" reference being a main series entry, and the entirety of Gamers Against Weed are more irritating to me.

This was really recent, you are correct in observing that they make no fucking seance.as they were all added in long after the entries were made in a site wide project known as the "the grand cross linking". Unfortunately, the team they assembled for this; they called it a team, does not understand that good cross references make use of intertextuality to create meaning, rather then just them being something that establishes that exist in the same universe by having one mention the other. Part of the problem is that the authors are so fucking dainty that they don't want to ever have to have a situation where they would have to suffer through a creative asshole like fishmonger to keep stuff on the site and making meaningful cross references with different authors can create such a situation. Really the site is orientated towards authors and not readers with is part of the problem that the site is having.
