OT: I've just watched a playthrough of what I imagine is the majority of the game on Jewtube. I am honestly not sure what the fuss is about, the game is hardly obscene or edgy at all. The worst thing in it is that "forbidden fruit" are apples with vaginas on them. You only get to see some succubus tits. Witcher 3 had "worse" nudity and "worse" violence than this edgy walking simulator. If they only censored a few seconds off of two endings as they claim then there really couldn't have been much there to begin with since the game is tame as fuck.

But regardless of that, on the topic of the censorship - While I understand the "GIVE THEM NO INCH!" attitude, I implore people to think this through rationally. This wasn't the dev's decision. It's more likely a feature parity clause in the contract with Sony/MS that the console publisher signed with them, and they were unaware of the developer's pre-existing intention to break it for the PC release. Yeah people are finding stuff that was uncensored in the demo that are censored in the final game. Blood in certain scenes being changed to purple camera cutting away not only during cutscenes but also during some gore scenes. I think what happened was the devs had to quickly redo a ton of the art to get passed ratings certification but were told really late. So they delayed the game a month and rushed shit out. So now the finished game looks muddy and significantly worse than what was promised. Then the publisher saw that the uncensored patch would now also be a massive graphical upgrade since it was assets that were being worked on for years. So they told them they cannot put out the patch or breach contracts by giving the publisher such a significantly worse version.
