From what I can imagine, the combination of these two would be a fast paced RTS/MOBA thing with gameplay mostly similar to gotta protectors. The playable characters would be nintendo IP's, and there would be more advanced techniques regarding player movement and attacks.
For instance, attack combos that work with specific active abilities that are cancellable by other active abilities would be super cool. As an example, cancelling your dodge roll into boomerangs as amazon will allow you retain rolling momentum so that you can hit enemies with melee attacks while they are taking maximum range boomerang damage.
Along with that, some kind of PVP where you attack their Lola and they attack yours would make sense too.
In conclusion, I think the game would be a clusterfuck, but It would be really fun, and I'd play it every day.

Second scenario: Final Fantasy XV, simplified in the style of III (the DS/iOS/PC version). Actually, I feel like XV's story would have a lot more room to shine here, because I think that a lot of XV's pacing problems come from there being too much in the game and not enough time/money to tie it all together neatly. Simplify the whole package to this extreme, and you might have a pretty good game.

The game has a significant difficulty increase and you can attach two weapon sets to each unit to switch between mid combat to alter their abilities and team attacks. Bayonetta can use 4 weapons to customize and can only gain new abilities outside of her summons this way, while Reynn and Lann use Mirajewels to customize their magic and abilities which makes them very versatile but weaker then Bayonetta.
If Reynn or Lann gets knocked out, Bayonetta gets fucking pissed and all her stats are increased.

Just adding things like processors and semiconductors to the mix), allowing complete mix-n-max of styles. To a degree, kind of like the bowguns in Vanilla Tri.
Monsters would be normal, completely mechanical, or have mechanical enhancements.
With things like the Selta's Armor and Weapon set, as well as Gen G's Atoraru Ka, I could see it working. I'd make an interesting spinoff.
