If it bothers mods, why not make it so that share threads are an exception? Also someone could write a custom js that takes a syntax like [sharetext][/sharetext] and anything between two of those tags is automatically decoded. Bots miss out, newfags have to lurk if they want the custom js or to figure out what the cipher is, and anybody in the share threads wouldn't be able to miss somebody posting shit that could get the site taken down.
