How do you deal with them?

These are just acquaintances. Obviously I'm not retarded enough to indulge them in their shit taste in vidya and in fact I will call them out on their shit tastes.

I'm tempted to just cut them off entirely; I barely have a connection to them to begin with. I don't respect anyone who plays Assfaggots or Overcuck, and I only tolerate friends who do when they don't talk about it much, or I'm friends with them for reasons besides vidya.

Vidya is a pretty important part of my life, so to see such garbage taste and people willingly supporting the most cancerous of companies puts such a vile taste in my mouth that I just feel disgusted.

Thankfully I already have some very good friends who's tastes I can overall respect, but when it comes to retards like this, vidya is one of those things that's supposed to be in common and if I don't have that, what even is the point?

Its even worse when a friendship is trying to be started on the basis of vidya being a common interest.

Even if you made the longest and most autistic lecture explaining in detail why something is shit or cancer, all the other person has to do is say it's fun. That's it. Unless the other guy cares about funding the chinks or something else that is connected to morality or one's personal interest, than simply saying "it's fun to me" trumps any argument you could ever come up with.

How about instead of cutting off yourself from people that like things you don't, you spread the good word and introduce them to games you believe are worthy of attention?

that's a more positive way of thinking about it, but my tastes and their tastes differ on such a level that I wouldn't know what to even recommend to them; not only that but when you're caught in the assfaggots, MMOs and and the cycle of other shit, it tends to take up pretty much all your vidya time until you burn out or move on to the next fad game.
