Marketplace has a ton of blueprints that do not cost platinum. Join a clan if you can if only for reusable blueprints on gear. If you're planning on using it for a Sortie, I would go for the Vulkar Wraith or Vulkar if you can. The reason being you can slot the New Loka syndi mod for the Vulkar and get a wide-area aoe corrosive proc on top of a good health restore, which mitigates the main issue of a sniper-only sortie which is to say it gives you a strong aoe option without resorting to frame powers that doubles as a guaranteed armor strip in a wide radius.
For eidolons, you're going to want something else. Rubico or Lanka probably. But for general use the Vulkar is tits. You get a guaranteed impact proc with each hit that doesn't count towards actual status procs, making chain headshots pretty easy to pull off.

DE tries new shit all the time. Gara came with PoE and was a decent enough quest not as good as Harrow or Octavia though and the fragments of lore from the ghoul events and the fish statues were a nice touch. I think DE could have done a better job with making Khora something more than a carrot to encourage people to do Onslaught, because tbh if the rewards were decent and the mode itself is fun, people will do it anyway. I would have preferred a quest too, but the fragments sort of tell that story already.
Still, would have been great to find that Corpus scientist and then work with him to track down the parts of Khora and rebuild her.

Holy shit Khora sucks. I mean even Zephyr had one good ability. Her 1 either doesn't connect or doesn't do anything noticable when it does. Sometimes enemies get knocked down but there's a hard emphasis on "Sometimes" because even that's being generous. Her 2 is just shit: the worst form of CC yet and by the time it kicks in whatever you're trying to CC has already put enough rounds into you to make it worthless. Her cat is good on paper but paper doesn't make a good ability. Like any AI it only works sometimes, again with "sometimes" being generous.

See, that's the rub:

So DE can certainly put out a strong frame when they try, the issue here is I think they tried the wrong stuff with Khora. Specifically, I think she was designed around the new IPS "rework" that was to be damage 3.0. But given that their rework sucked and had to be scrapped, Khora had to be re-done as well. Couple that with people constantly demanding that Khora be released due to her four month or maybe more by now delay and you get this rush job. In other words, DE bit off more than they could chew with this, and it's biting them back.
They'll fix it. They always do. It's not like we have to pay them a damn thing while we wait for this shit to get worked out. At least the new melee and secondary are pretty great. The Zaw parts were a nice touch too.

Speaking of which, made this build and is OK, but I hate how the chakram seems to be quite unreliable for attacking and his first ability is just mediocre if I decide to not care about power efficiency that much, I wish it was just a timed burst like Volt's, his 3 seems to be where everything goes, his 4 works with range and strength but sometimes I am too worried about having enough energy to recast 3.
BTW, most of the time 2 kills enemies and doesn't give out a healing pulse, and sometimes enemies who died touching me with halo keep glowing, if I hit the corpse with 2 they emit the heal pulse, I don't get it.

Other frames include radiation, or in Nyx's case act similar to radiation, but Oberron might as well be a Willo'wisp out of Cherenkov radiation.

there is a trade tax whenever you make a trade. Usually it's not much, a few thousand credits. Primed mods and rare cores have a tax of a million credits though. the tax rate changes however from place to place. Maroo has a 10% tax IIRC and clans get to set their own tax, though for almost every clan this is just 0%, so you only pay the base tax price. And mirage isn't a trickster at all, she's a straight damage dealer. You activate your 1 and 3 and you're basically done, press 4 if you feel like it. She's definitely not much of a tank though.

Absolutely, but you'll want to do some research on what each of the parts do. For example, the Mewan blade can be made into a 1h sword, but it's a "heavy" blade type so it comes naturally with higher damage and lower attack speed. You can offset this with your choice of grip or link, or you can go balls deep and make a really fucking slow high-damage weapon.
For reference, I have a Mewan 1h sword with the balanced grip and the +dmg/crit -spd/status chance link set and it has a base crit of 32%, with like 54.4 or something with the melee +crit chance mod. That means keeping Berserker up is easy as hell, so off-setting the slower attack speed isn't a problem.
I also have an infested rapier I like to use every now and then, as well as a slow, damage-heavy Nikana and a fast/balanced staff. Haven't tried polearms, daggers, machete's or scythe's yet though. As an aside each Zaw strike is counted as it's own weapon, so if you build a 1h sword with the Mewan strike and then master it, and then you build a polearm with the Mewan strike, you won't get affinity for mastering the polearm version due to already mastering the Mewan as a 1h sword.

I am, the problem is one of those fire faggots doing their huge aoe explosion removing my entire shield and when I get close he just starts taking huge chunks of my shield too. The other day I was also doing some low level infestation survival and at a certain point there was a steady stream of toxic ancients constantly draining my health, no attacks to avoid. It sounds like you started playing recently.
At first, yeah, health from containers is all you get.
After a while, you'll come to rely on your team. Not just for reviving, but also actual healing.
Eventually, you'll want some self-reliance.
Medi-ray is a mod you can slap on a sentinel causing it to heal you every few seconds. Couple that with the "recover 100% shields" mod and a sentinel will keep you alive a lot longer than you'd expect.
Then there's Healing return, a mod for mellee weapons that heals you for 10HP everytime you hit an enemy that's suffering a proc.
It's actually shit (15 energy) unless you're rolling with high status chance weapons already.
Otherwise, two things you can do: prevention. Shields work best if you keep moving. Never stop. If you stop, you'll take a lot more hits and your shields collapse in no time. Also, run for cover and let them recharge, especially on high tiered missions.
A team health restores. I non-ironically suggest these. They're too expensive for newbies, but once you've cleared the starchart they're easily affordable. Keep 20 or 30 of them around. Energy restores too.
It's kinda like Cyphers: you don't need them 90% of the time, but one those 10% you do, you REALLY do.

Yes, and arguably Loki is better depending on your playstyle.
1. Make a decoy (with augment you automatically switch-teleport to it on fatal damage, saving your life)
2. Invisibility. Properly setup you'll stay invis for at least 30 seconds. (With augment all of your weapons are silenced, no matter the mods.)
3. Switch Teleport. Pretty simple. (With augment if you switch with an ally they become invincible for a short while.)
4. Radial Disarm, his most useful ability outside of invisibility. Removes all enemy weapons except for bosses and capture targets. (With augment all enemies affected get rad proc, the duration scaling with your ability duration.)
He is broken in a lot of ways and is useful at all levels.

With prime flow you don't need a health mod. You fill the 8th slot with quick thinking, that way your massive energy pool can substitute for hp. But yea primed cont and streamline help aswell, but don't forget about the exiles slot, you can throw cunning drift in there.

With my loki I completely ignore the need for any health mods. Plus, with the augment on your Decoy you can effectively be invincible forever. The duration on mine is like 70 something seconds. Just put it somewhere safe that enemies can't get to.

I was just thinking about Rei from Hokuto no Ken and how his style of fighting is radical to watch, and I also thought about how you would incorporate it into a game like warframe.

Quite crappy roll on both, opticor has no use for status chance, it is a hit kill weapon, while fire rate is good, it is a 18 points cost mod only for fire rate right now.
vasto on the other hand has some use of multishot, but that is it, damage to faction while it applies after everything else, is not that usefull.
If you are in doubt look through semlar riven price to see the baseline of what people offer on them, they are not the perfect riven roll, they are the most offered by stat roll.

You want damage, crit chance, crit damage, puncture, or an elemental damage (in order of priority). Status chance is meh, fire rate isn't terrible if paired with something like damage and crit but can also be made up elsewhere with Speed Trigger or Shred, and elemental damage is best if it's electric or heat so you can make radiation more easily.

You do all three. Hit the siphon/flood missions first, and once they're done cause you can only do them once per Kuva Fortress movement then you hit Kuva survival. Bring a resource booster and you'll double your Kuva income too. Smeeta kavat Charm can also do that, but it's a pretty rare thing given that you need the right Charm buff up at the time that the Kuva siphon is destroyed. It works a bit better in the survival though.

Nekros is energy heavy as fuck. You might want to take a look into Hydroid as well, depending on your Syndis. Like any sane person you picked Zenurik though so go crazy.
I prefer Hydroid to Nekros for aesthetic and relaxing reasons, Hydroid is pretty stationary although extremely good at that. Nekros hurts your eyes and confuses your teammates.

Adding to this, try and get his Despoil augment and then couple that with the mod Equilibrium (even damaged is fine) and you basically create an infinite health/energy loop whenever you Desecrate (which happens automatically near dead bodies since it's a toggle). Despoil makes the Desecrate skill use health instead of energy, but Desecrate has a high chance to create health globes when it affects a body, more than offsetting the cost. Equilibrium grants energy when you pick up health and vice versa, so every time you desecrate a body or body part, you have a high chance to get a health globe which you will always use because you just used health to Desecrate, and then it'll give you a shot of energy along with the health too.
Also, try and run a high slash-damage weapon with Nekros. Enemies killed by slash damage have a chance to get gibbed in a variety of ways, and each "part" counts as a separate body for the purposes of Desecrate.

As nobody is linking a build, i run this on my nekros, grab life strike mod on a weapon and just run channeling as with despoil you have no use for energy it outside of your 4, which i have the mod here but rarely use as the DR is based on strength and is related to range on how far you can go from your shadows.
With equilibrium you MUST waste energy, so you can either keep shadows going forever or use channeling forever. on a pinch you use 2 to make enemys scatter to give you time to recover. So a heavy hitting critical combo weapon is good.
Continuity and auger reach is to your modding taste, just use Corrosive Projection as nothing else help as much and it as the other anon pointed out, on this build you are extremely dependant on your kill time, if you can kill you can survive forever and loot forever.

I did say it was only for "oh shit" moments, nobody in their sane mind uses nekros 2 as it is useless for a frame that need the enemys dead/stopped on place to die.
The range is for nekros 3 team play, as things die all over the place and corpses have a timer before they disappear and thus give nothing, a big range can cover those annoying extremely big tiles somewhat.
