Anyone played Enderal? Is it worth it? Do it fuck up game? I still would like to be able to alternate between Skyrim and Enderal. 9 GB is a lot only for it to not be what you want.

He's referring to Skyrim, calling it a meme game. Meme + Skyrim = Memerim. It's a fairly common word construction, like how people sometimes refer to the original version of Skyrim as Oldrim to distinguish it from the Special Edition.

These guys always go with a fedora tier story but this time its within Skyrim's engine and mechanics, so its doubly shit. The gameplay sucks because Skyrim, the animations suck because Skyrim, the leveling system sucked as well.

You can switch back to normal skyrim with a push of a button on the installer. But I don't recommend you go try to go back and forth. Just install Enderal, play through it all, then switch back. Overall the quests are well done, the world is varied, the dungeons manage to do a few interesting things despite being mostly limited to old skyrim assets. The biggest negatives are that it's still Skyrim's crap game-play and Enderal has somehow managed to add an even worst skill leveling system than vanilla.

Yes

It comes with the limitations you would expect by it being built on Skyrim's engine, but Nehrim unironically has one of the best storylines I have seen in a game for more than a good while. There also should be a new content patch coming out in the vague features that adds some quests which didn't make it into the game, as well as as the "Golden Sickle" guild.

The game crashes constantly, the leveling system is beyond retarded, there are useless skills, magic is op while melee is almost unplayable at higher difficulties and the game lags due to going crazy with grass everywhere.

Story is well done, especially compared to Skyrim. Think of it as a student homage to Gothic. If you do get it I recommend cheating in the money for learning books, then rushing through the main quest as a mage. None of the side quests are any good, and I completed almost all of them except for some bugged quest with a Starchild and a robot.
