Hello fellow /v/.

Can you recomend me with some decent motocross or enduro games?

I had so much fun playing motocross madness 1 & 2 back in the day. I wonder if there is something similar today.

Anything from arcade to realism goes.

As for recommendations, surprisingly, there's a bunch of motocross games available these last few years. There's the MXGP games. I played 1 and 2, I'd say 2 is a straight up improvement in just about everything over 1, although it has some annoying out-of-bounds limits on a bunch of tracks where you don't even have to be off the track to get reset. But overall, it's pretty good.

MXGP3 came out last year I think, but I haven't played it yet.

There's also MX vs ATV Reflex, which is more arcade. Don't bother with the other MX vs ATV games, they suck ass. Even the newer ones don't seem to win any favor from the small fanbase this series managed to foster. Kind of sad to be honest.

Then I heard there was a motocross game sponsored/made by Monster Energy, but I heard it wasn't all that good compared to MXGP. Can't judge it myself because I haven't seen much of it besides screenshots.

What was the name of that one PS1 motorcross-esque game where one of the stages was in the jungle and had a wooden bridge that led into a tunnel? I remember there being a green sportsbike in the roster to pick from.

I remember playing one such game on the PC way back, PS1 era game I think. (I think it might have been championship motocross 2001 but I can't be sure).

I wonder if any anons here can help me find an old game I used to play.

It was an offroad racing game with a bunch of different offroad vehicles to choose from trucks to even quad bikes. The tracks were sort of open world-ish. I remember there being a total of 6 or 8 CPU racers and the game had LAN support for multiplayer (it was on PC too).

There was even a 'free roam' mode which you could just drive around and fuck about, there were also herds of buffalo in the distant areas of the map on one of the tracks.

Obscure? Yes… But curiosity compels me none the less
