Kronos 3 is a buggy mess. When bugs are reported the devs close the report without addressing the issues and essentially tell you to fuck off. Pathing is broken, basic shit like mobs attacking you in melee when they run out of mana isn't even scripted, and half the server is made up of patchwork fixes like pets despawning on zeppelins because they can't figure out how to script the pathing for it.

I wouldn't waste your time.

Oh and I forget the fact that mobs run at such and awkward speed that you can kite them in between your weapon swings so they can never hit you. So warriors were running around kiting elites that would otherwise 2 shot them. Again I find it weird that they didn't even allow purchase of pre-1.3 mounts, Kronos feels like they just try to rush shit out the door.

I've had pretty good luck with pathing outside of the path right above Baron Aquanis or whatever his name is in BFD. In fact, pathing's been beneficial in some cases, where if I drop down, my pet just drops down with me instead of taking a lengthy detour and pulling like 50 extra mobs.

I still have no idea if WF proccing off of pet melee is intentional. I can't complain.

Raid class balance outside of vanilla has always been terrible. In vanilla you're obligated to bring every class, including druids even if it's just one. In every expansion following class stacking becomes a serious problem. Bring the player and not the class was one of the single most retarded and self-contradicting philosophies ever put into practice.

You can make a raid need every class and as long as people played their role well they got into the raid. Now every player needs to play every class because every patch the meta does a complete 180 as the developers try and juggle the clusterfuck that is WoW """balance""". TBC is just barely saved from this issue but from wotlk onwards it has been plaguing the game.

It's hilarious watching retail drones cry about specs being useless in vanilla while not understanding why that makes the game infinitely more balanced than any other version of "casualized" WoW. Consistency is the formula to longevity, and longevity can be a formula for profit. If you don't understand the glaring issues of Legion at first glance you are completely ignorant to how games are supposed to function. It fails at the most fundamental and basic levels by completing diluting the reward mechanisms of the game and is nothing more than a glorified dress up/waifu simulator.

WoW was built on the idea that you only had to do major shit once a week and that offered the best loot possible for the most part, so you had no obligation to constantly log in if you wanted to remain competitive when content was on farm. Blizzard decides that people need to be playing their shitty game day in and day out and no others, so they add daily bullshit content that does nothing besides burn people out. This problem is exacerbated in Legion by adding in multiple grind mechanics that destroyed the essence of the game, which was gearing your character and progressing their power.

People would spend months 4-5 months slaving away trying to get their legendaries and playing the slot machine. Every time they got the wrong legendary they would feel miserable. It was an absolutely terrible fucking system. I don't care what state legion is in now because that is irrelevant. These fact these flaws existed at all should permanently cement the notion that blizzard is utterly fucking incompetent and will NEVER be remotely capable of creating a well designed game for the rest of time.

The issues their current games have are things I couldn't imagine getting through the brainstorm phase, let alone making it into an alpha copy of the game, beta copy, open testing, and then into the final fucking product. The only conclusion is that they either have completely retarded testers or simply don't listen to their testers. Or perhaps they have a really impressive anthropologist that understands whale players and somehow these awful mechanics are designed just perfectly to milk money out of these kinds of players, I don't know.

Vanilla WoW has plenty of room for poop-socking, but it is presented in a much better way. Legion has not been successful for any demographic, it is a universal failure for every group of player besides the absolute bottom of the barrel bugman who only still plays WoW out of some disgusting corporate loyalism.

It has completely killed the hardcore raiding scene. Arguably it was already pretty dead, but Legion put about 50 bullets into it just to be sure. Hardcore raiders quit left and right because it was too demanding. There was/is never a single moment where you get to relax, the game expects you to be constantly grinding every minute of every day. The new RNG loot system forces them to autisticly run every single raid on every single difficulty multiple times in split runs for upwards to 6 or 7 characters for each player. It is some of the most autistic shit you'll ever witness in any game ever, and in legion it doesn't let up for a second.

No one likes being obligated to log into a game. Vanilla WoW has grinds that can contribute to raids, but it lets up when content is on farm. Most high end vanilla guilds don't expect you to have consumables for raids that are on far. Consumable farming is the during the week grind that raiders do in vanilla. You can sink a metric fuckton of time into it, but you don't need to. You can still progress your character all the same because consumable farming doesn't have a completely random chance to roll a piece of gear that surpasses anything you could get out of a raid as long as it rolls the perfect stats.

Vanilla WoW is a pretty terrible game, but I don't even know what to call Legion it's so bad. I legitimately don't understand who they made the game for. It isn't casual, it's too autistic to be enjoyed by the hardcore players, no one has ever taken PvP seriously so it's moot, the story is a joke, questing is the same as it has always been, the entire game is just one massive chore without a single redeeming factor. Playing retail WoW is akin to slave labour and yet apparently people unironically still pay blizzard money to do it. I can't even fucking fathom it. It's kind of impressive actually, a true display of the control that these mega corporations can have on the goyim. Imagine paying a jew to do what we used to laugh at chink prisoners were forced to do to make their governments money. I want off of this ride.

They added something called "warforging" or "titanforging", I forget. Basically when a piece of loot drops it has a chance to become one of a few extra tiers better, to a significant degree at the top tier. So not only do you need to be lucky enough to get the drop, you need it to titanforge as well. This itself is kind of retarded, but wouldn't be that severe of an issue if it weren't for the fact that the dungeon loot can also titanforge. Meaning that some classes have very specific items with very specific stats that they inevitably had to grind for to get a titanforged copy of. So certain specs were stuck needing to grind dungeons with the new autism dungeon grinding system that no one wanted to do and had to pray to the gods that not only would the item drop, but that it would become titanforged so they could get their BiS.

This completely diluted the basic reward mechanism of the game and made receiving loot a miserable event unless you got incredibly lucky and it randomly decided to be titanforged. This was done to create "epic" ""OMG NO WAAAAY"" moments that they think people want, but in reality all it did was make people disgruntled and disappointed every time gear dropped. The dungeon titanforging done to try and make casuals happy by giving them gear they never had to work for, all the while making dedicated players have to work ten times as hard only to never get rewarded at all.

I suspect the game has less than a million subs at this point. I refuse to believe anymore kept playing this shit after a few months besides the bugmen.

It's bizarre that a major, experienced developer could make such a basic error. It's been understood for decades that people experience the pain of losses much more harshly than the pleasure of a comparable gain, and that any outcome below expectation is psychologically a loss. You theoretically can, but it won't happen. There are guilds that use TS or mumble for the better VOIP quality, but they still end up having a goyscord for communication and planning outside of the game. Without it it's incredibly difficult to organize people effectively.

I suppose you could use riot.im for organizing guild efforts and mumble or TS for VOIP, but good luck getting the normalfags to use riot instead of just leaving for a guild that uses disagreement instead. It's easy for people who don't know what they are talking about and have no interest in being a successful raiding guild to pretend like you can "just" use mumble and have everything work fine, but in practice player retention and recruiting makes things quite a bit more complicated.

No one is bad at WoW. The game is as simple as can be. A vanilla WoW guild doesn't fall apart because players can't figure out how to press frost bolt over and over again. 8chan guilds fail because they don't have the numbers to keep the raids filled with people putting in effort to farm consumes and organize the raid properly.

99.99% of vanilla WoW raiding is player management, and in order to effectively manage players you need to have an actual pool to select from. There is virtually no such thing as a "skillful" world of warcraft player. People in 8chan guilds tend to be normalfags in the sense that they don't have the autism to play WoW endlessly and care too much about a really shitty 14 year old MMO. In order to succeed in vanilla WoW you have to take the game more seriously than any sane person should.

I believe there has almost been a sort of paradigm shift. Normalfags are the only people degenerate enough to enjoy playing WoW, while true autists are evolving past it. A very odd timeline.
