Yeah, I've definitely had a lot less of pic related happening. Once they've got full mod compatibility and extra features added, OpenMW will be the best possible way to play Morrowind. Seems to me that these games could have really benefited by having a good mod/dev toolkit released along with them - and let players fill it with content and gameplay mechanics. Especially popular mechanics/islands/quests could be curated by the dev team and added to the base game in exchange for perhaps special in-game cosmetic items given to the author (so they can fag it up with their badge) and a name in the credits.
You could have a million planets/islands created by a million autists, ready for your players to explore having successfully offloaded your content development onto the community and only having to worry about bi-monthly or semi-annual "update packs" which add in new models/textures/sounds/animations and other shit that most modders aren't capable of doing well.

Get rid of the Instances.
Make it so monster spawns are random on their whole map instead of having fixed spawn points.
Making the normal monsters stronger, more agressive and give more EXP.
Remove the ability to idle with certain classes (who the fuck thought necromancer and warlock were a good idea).
Rebalance the classes and make them individual advancements from the first base ones instead of those dumb tiers (maybe add some as different base classes)
Make the world map not linear and redesign most maps so that they're not a linear path to the next map too.
Almost the same could be said about ragnarok 2 except the classes thing, but also changing it's tab targeting auto-combat to actual action. And trying to kep it's lore and content more in line with the first one.

Stronghold Crusader: Imagine a fan-take on the game where you have a persistent castle that you build as you go out on campaign to bring back riches and glory. Away missions would be like chess (can't produce more), you could have serious sieges. Walls would be improved so they don't just fall over and laddermen, siege towers, and tunnelers become important. Game takes a much more relaxed pace compared to regular gook clickers with their APM's and build orders. Sieges could take you hours or days instead of just massing stone. AI could be improved. Diplomacy could be added. Real trade could be added. More tiers of equipment could be added, like the already present stone quarry being higher tier. More units. More defenses. Imagine the possibilities.

For NV I'd really like a working engine, but barring that I'd at least like a better physics implementation, shadows and local splitscreen multiplayer.
For Daggerfall I'd really like it to be remade in the ZDoom engine with multiplayer. I know Doom was raycasted and Daggerfall was full 3D but I think the game could be made with raycasting in mind and not be any different. It's not like you really need rooms over rooms in that game.
