Take a break and stand up, instantly fall back down, room is spinning. Think "oh god this is it, death by blood clot, sat on my ass too much playing vidya" but then feel like im gonna ralph.
Turns out the game made me extremely motion sick and each time i try its more severe. I usually only suffer from that if i try to read during a long car ride. I loved the game and really wanted to play it but i straight up can't.

Season 3 was godawful aside from the Dimensional Rick and Morty episode which was alright and arguably the first episode of that season.

I have trouble playing diablo clones for the long periods of time that they ask you to sacrifice. I find the endless clicking and manual targeting exhausting and uncomfortable, and the gameplay always feels too simplistic to be asking you to destroy your mouse as if you're playing a competitive RTS or something. It's 90% of the reason I consider games like baldur's gate:DA and Xanadu Next best in genre.
Don't have a problem with other isometric RPGs such as fallout and infinity engine games.

When I was a kid and played Doom-era FPS's, I used the mouse to move. As in I would have to drag it constantly to walk forward or backward. This gave me unbelievable amounts of carpal tunnel. I think the extremely low resolution also contributed to this by giving me headaches too. The whole experience made me associate the games with intense nausea and arm cramps to this day. There's a handful of different routes through each area, but the only significant change to the order you go through the areas is killing Dancer early since virtually every area has one in and one out. Even then, killing Dancer only unlocks a handful of areas, none of which have anything interesting enough in them to change your approach to the game.
You can't do anything like hopping into the Gutter to snag Havel's set and the great club, or running straight to Ash Lake to kill gargoyles with dragon breath. All you can do is get titanite chunks early, which fucks up your matchmaking as punishment.

That's why Mario 64 is still the best Mario game when it comes to controls to this day. Motion sickness is caused by a discrepancy in your senses. Like reading in a car. Because you are feeling motion but not seeing it. Watching movement without feeling it would be the opposite of that example, but to the same effect, like flying in a plane (usually feeling less move ment) and spying out the window. And obviously different people have different tolerance for it.
But it generally occurs in instances that limit your sensory adjustment. So it's susceptible to how you can adjust the situation to fit your senses. You can raise your eyes from a book or close your window. But videogames have this adjustment done constantly, since usually what you see relates to how you control the game. Plus involuntary glances out of the screen calibrate the correlation between you're vestibular system and eyes.
People who gets motion sickness from videogames are such pussies they would get sick from almost anything. Makes no sense to me.

I really hope you're not implying that your required to grind in EO, or else that would be the dumbest shit I heard all week. You literally just do the sidequests as they pop up and walk to the next floor. By the time you reach the stratum's boss you're more than leveled to take it on. As for party comp there's a wealth of combinations you can do, there's only like 1 or even 2 classes in each installment that are shit but the rest are more than capable of allowing you to customize and play around with. If you didn't like the game it's fine, but these complaints are absolutely non existent in EO.

If you think eo4 needs grinding you probably need to gitgud, 4 is considered the easiest game in the series and the lack of difficulty is usually the biggest criticism. Considering you said you were used to grinding I don't think you realize that when you can't beat an enemy, you should try a new strategy rather than grind and brute force your way past.

Because you have to rapidly move the mouse to dodge projectiles, etc.
If you're moving the mouse to a safe position while you're casting a spell, that means you have to wait for the animation to finish, or worse, use the skill at that location and not be able to get there in time.
Additionally, the time it takes to release your finger, move the mouse, and click again can be a deciding factor in some situations. Thus, it is best to have an "always ready to click" approach to the game.

It's not really for everyone, it's a very story/character focused game and if that's not your thing (or if you dislike the writing, obviously) you won't like it. But as somebody who played it before the huge wave of bullshit swept through the internet, I highly recommend you give it a chance. Just try to set aside all the tumblr autists and furries and whatever, throw away any expectations, and give it a shot. In my opinion it's definitely worth it. It's actually one of my favourite games because I'm a sucker for cute, story-based games. It makes me so fucking angry that so many people get driven away like you did by all the cancerous faggots that latched onto it.
